We’ve purchased multiple sets and have never been disappointed. The first set was for a door, the remaining 14 (yes, fourteen) have been used for window treatments in our log cabin. While it may seem excessive, other window treatments blocked our views and now, when open, our views are unobstructed. When they’re closed, it’s almost total darkness (light does leak around the perimeter). The ability to add to the total length of the rail has enabled us to move the “shutters” to either side of the window opening.The quality has been excellent from the first install through the last. Handsome, easy to mount, exceptionally quiet and very well engineered. While some might balk at the expense, I’d like to think we saved some money over some other traditional window treatments. At any rate, we are more than happy with the results!

Everything worked well for me I don’t know what level of experience the negative reviewers have but I had absolutely no trouble installing the unit. I find most instructions useless but this one was straight forward enough. The most interesting part being that it is supposed to be for standard 16 inch centered studs but shows a spacing of 18+ inches between mounting brackets. 16 inch center studs are only 14 1/2 inches open space. Anyway it went in easily and is working great. Don’t be put off it’s a good product.

I’m glad I spent twice as much on this stainless hardware versus the black iron stuff. It’s really beautiful and high quality, totally worth it!

Bought this because it looked great - clean and contemporary. Got the 6'6" length for a 36" wide door. It is well made, sturdy, and operates very smoothly. It looks as good as the picture and the size was right for the door. However, it was challenging to install because of a number of things: 1)The instructions were very explicit to mount the track precisely 2 11/16 inches + the height of the door, but it failed to say how that measurement applied - to the bottom of the track, the top, the center? And it didn't say what floor clearance was assumed. I made my own careful measurements. 2) The mounting brackets are at fixed locations on the rail (about 18" centers), and the wall mounts must first be attached to the wall and then the rail attached with machine screws to the mounts, so everything must line up very exactly, no adjustments possible. 3) Cutting a large, deep slot in the bottom of the door for the guide post can be difficult. I made a wooden jig that I clamped to the bottom of the door to guide my router. I also made my slot smaller - just large enough for the guide, and I made it blind so that it doesn't show at the ends. 4) There was no guidance re. where to mount the rollers on the top of the door. It turns out that they must be near the sides of the door to accommodate the mounting of the door stops on the rail. 5) The upper, inside corner of the door stops just touched the rollers. I ground down the corners a little to avoid that, which turned out looking good because the parts are solid stainless steel. 6) I was surprised how far out from the wall the door hung, but it had to clear the door molding, which still left at least 1/2" clearance. I installed the track mounts directly to the drywall with molly bolts, which seemed strong enough, and installing a header board would have made it extend too far out from the wall. In the end, it looks and works great and now that I know how to install it we are planning to buy another.

We are so happy to have found the HAHAEMAIL 6.6FT Stainless Steel Sliding Barn Door Hardware Track Kit. I am a California Contractor and often installed faulty Barn glides. These look great and have an exceptional Hardware. If you like the look you will be happy to have bought these.

I removed a regular door from a small laundry room. Altered the door to be used as a sliding door. This hardware will functions as a barn sliding door but looks so much more elegant. My laundry room has so much more usable space and my sliding door that is now in the hallway looks modern and interesting with this hardware.

Just got it installed. The instructions were crap. My advice is put the first end up then mark your anchors as you go keeping a level line. I would not measure and do all at once. We did that then took it down and started over because it didn't work. Took a couple hours and I'm handy (rebuilt the kitchen just before). Once up it's smooth as silk and looks great. Be prepared to take your time and don't rush it.

This is the first barn door that I have hung. I ordered this hardware as I loved that the wheels attached at the top of the door - leaving the door unmarred by any hardware. However, it took us 5 hours to hang the door. The instructions are not complete so we had to do a lot of maneuvering to figure out how to put it together. Also - the measurements are in decimals - not in inches - so we had to measure 19.57 inches - which we never did completely work out. As we were drilling into drywall there was no room for error. If we were a 1/4 inch off we couldn't just pull the screws out and drill a new whole - so it was a very slow and labor intensive process to hang the door. Once we got it up - it is beautiful and very sturdy. The door we hung is 60 lbs and the hardware looks great with it.

I bought this rail because I needed a long one to bypass my light switches. This rail is great. My contractor said the hardware was a bit difficult to figure out and install but he figured it out. I was charged for duty when it arrived. This surprised me as there should have been no extra charges. When I first contacted the seller, they wanted to split the cost with me. I did not want to do that as the receipt clearly said there would be no further charges. They eventually agreed to refund me the entire extra cost. It looks great and the door slides nicely.
