I have bought and tried several different brands of these type hearing amplifiers and the ones from Scienlodic are the best. I had to return other brands because they simply did not work. While these do not amplifiy enough to say they are for severe hearing loss, they do a better job at noise reduction and have better amplification than other brands that look the same. They charge in a reasonable amount of time and after a full charge last all day. It is hard if not impossible to turn them on and to adjust the volume after placing them in your ear. Be sure you use the right size ear piece, several sizes are included. Be ready for "squealing" sound after you turn them on and are placing them in your ear.

I've only used these for a few hours watching TV so far but I have had good results. Once I picked the right size ear bud and adjusted the volume they really helped hear the TV with the sound on it turned much lower. They charged up in about 2 hrs the first time and I will check them again this afternoon before I want to use them. I have not been around anyone yet for person to person conversation or to church to test them there. So far so good !

Very good AMPLIFIER , good for watching TV with family. TV volume low for normal hearing.

First, the product was huge. Stuck way out beyond the ear-very noticeable. Was no good for amplifying sounds. There was lots of static noise and finally squealing which caused ear damage.Should have negative stars.

I bought a pair of these for a relative who has had hearing issues...who previously couldn't hear the birds, couldn't hear his grandchild cooing, and couldn't hear people clearly speaking. He rates them 8 out of 10 and is so glad they are rechargeable. I just hope they last him awhile, because he really enjoys being able to hear better again!
