Natrol High Caffeine 200 mg per Serving, Energy Support Supplement for Adults, 100 Tablets, 100 Day Supply

These are the best caffeine pills I’ve ever tried. Even taking half a pill gives me clean, steady energy for 12+ hours with no crash, no jitters, and no burnout afterward. I felt alert, focused, and energized all day. My only complaint is that they’re always sold out. I wish I could stock up because nothing else works like these!

I've tried a lot of energy shots and drinks in the past, from Monster Energy, Rockstar to X-Mode. I decided to try these to skip the sugar and junk that comes with energy drinks and found these to be excellent. They not only boost my energy levels but also brightens my mood, keeping me very positive. There is no crash like with other energy supplements, filled with sugar and unnecessary ingredients. These pills are flavorless so don't expect anything like an energy drink. I down these with water. I break them in half and take one in the morning and one in the afternoon if needed. They are easy to split in two. I find that taking an entire pill at once gives me heart palpitations. The cost is extremely affordable. I do take them sparingly, no more than 3 times per week. They lose their effect if I take them daily. I will continue to use these as needed as they work as intended and the cost cannot be beat.

A good brand with a good price that works as intended. While it may not have some of the other beneficial types of caffeines (like green teas) or other herbal additives that keep the "cras" from happening, these are a perfectly fine caffeine pill that will keep you awake and moving through your day. I take one of these in the morning to help me be extra productive at work. Good price means I don't mind sharing or misplacing a pill - on the flip side you do notice the occasional crash when they wear off but not nearly as bad as other types of caffeine supplements.

I don't always want to drink coffee or tea, or have time to do so. Sometimes I'm somewhere where the coffee sucks, and I am not someone who will go to Starbucks to buy a cup - I'm picky about coffee, unless the situation is dire. Same with tea. Also, both take time to kick in; I don't always have that time. Enter the caffeine pill. Portable, cheap, and you can knock back one anywhere. Hits you all at once - which for me, is a good thing. I used to take Jet Alert, but they just weren't that effective at the 200mg strength, though 2 of the 100mg seemed better. But why waste money? So I did some research. Enter Natrol High caffeine. It feels stronger than Jet Alert and cleaner somehow. I can bite one in half with my front teeth (the original pill splitter) if I need more later in the day (I keep the other half in a separate case, I'm not that gross). My favorite use is setting my alarm a litter early, washing one of these down, then going back to sleep until I need to get up. I'm usually awake before my 2nd alarm and the morning goes a lot more smoothly. I am not a morning person, but these help me fake it sometimes. Ok, that's a lie, but I can get up and be much more functional than I used to be. I'm not standing in the shower staring at the wall for 10 minutes. Or trying to lather hand lotion on my face instead of cleanser. Or trying to brew ground hempseeds instead of coffee (insert vegan joke here). Hemp is a good protein source, but terrible coffee substitute.

We should remember that each person's experience is unique and subjective. Having said that, I was not that impressed with Natrol caffeine pills. They were just slightly less effective as Jet-Alert which is a fair amount cheaper. They do not provide a solid, quick boost; it is much more subtle. Does help some but if you need to get out of the starting gate, not so much. I have found that Vivarin gets the purple ribbon. Quick, long lasting solid boost. Just so dam**d expensive!

Worked really well, had to divide the tablets into quarters and take over the coursed of an hour/half hour.

One cup of coffee has around 95 milligrams of caffeine in it, so if you're looking for a quick boost of energy, these caffeine pills will work just fine--it's like drinking two cups of coffee, or four cups of black tea. I have classes early in the morning, so on days that I have tests or I haven't gotten enough sleep, I'll eat breakfast, pop a caffeine pill, and head to school. The pills take about an hour to kick in--it's not instantaneous, and it isn't all at once, which is nice. If it happened all at once, you'd feel jittery. Instead, you just slowly become more alert and awake. They also wear off very subtly, too, which is nice; I get a spike of energy in the morning that carries me throughout the day and wears off completely by about mid-afternoon, but which point I'm good and awake anyway. This is also really good for headaches and migraines. The reason why caffeine makes you so alert is that it dilates your blood vessels (makes them a little bigger), so it increase blood flow. This way, you get more oxygen and blood to different parts of your body (which is why it makes you feel more awake), and decreases headaches/migraines. I would not recommend taking more than two per day (and not at the same time). Caffeine overdoses are rare and require a lot more than two of these pills, but they do happen. Also, you shouldn't use these every day or your body will get used to the amount of caffeine needed to "get started" in the morning, and you'll end up relying on increasingly larger doses. It's best to use them once in a while, when you could use a little boost--not all the time, or regularly. If you guys have any questions about these pills, let me know!
