It's a good buy but lead acid batteries reduce life-span
I bought 2 of these, one for my main PC+router+TV and another for my unRAID server, they work great and had them 2.5 yearsYou can plug in the USB cable from the UPS into the unRAID server and it will automatically identify it and work out-of-the box, no software install required! In the unRAID OS settings you can then configure what % to shutdown the server safely etcI've had a few unexpected power cuts in my house lasting 10 minutes or so and this power backup handled it just as expected, zero downtime or interruption. Best way to avoid data corruption! When I have my annual electric inspection I let the guy just flip the main breaker without worrying about turning off my PC or serverOne of the devices is at the bottom of my bed and it's silent. Very rarely it will do some clicking noise for a few seconds but that's just a part of it's operation and not an issueThe only downside is that it uses lead acid batteries which are recommended to replace after 3-5 years due to reduced chargeExcluding age, lead acid batteries will get 200-500 cycles on average before becoming an issue, where as Li-ion is 1k-2k, LiFePO₄ 2k-5kSo for my next UPS I will look for LiFePO₄ as the lifecyle is 8-12 years vs 3-5y lead acid or I might try and retrofit LiFePO₄ batteries into this UPS when the time comes

Literally saved my whole PC setup
So glad I bought this when I got my custom built PC. Recently had a city wide power serge and this saved my £3K gaming and editing PC.So easy to set up very plug and play attached my pc to it and it worked instantly with a very quiet even when it detects a power outage or power serge. I have opted to put device into silent alarm feature as the alarm can be quiet loud which is good if you have headphones on and gives you an opportunity to safely shut down your device. However for me the audible click as it switches over is enough when I have needed to shut my device down.Morel of the story spend the money now to save you paying out in the future

This UPS has been working really well so far
This UPS (now I have 3 of them), has been working really well and the other two have been working well for about 2 years now. It's still too early to say how Long they will last. In my experience, generally most UPS, starts to have some issues after 4 years of continuous use, so it will take way longer than 2 years to be able to say how robust these are.As a general advice, the way I calculate how good UPS are, is by dividing their price over the number of years of reliable activity (reliable!), the cheaper it gets per single year of activity the better is the UPS.Hope this helps

2 years old, but got a bang and the magic blue smoke.
Purchased 2 years ago and has been quietly doing its job, has saved me from power black outs with my pc running long enough for me to shut it down with out any problems, and thanks to the USB on the front allowed me to charge my phone while I had no power... was absolutely chuffed with the unit, much better than the cheap thing I had before... Up until today, on my last self test it started showing an F02 error, it recommends reducing the load. I unplugged the additional non battery supplied side (extra monitor etc) and powered it back on, it went very bang, big baddabomb, and the whiff and sight of the magic blue smoke appeared.. I have unplugged it from my set up now... it still powers on, but directly to the error screen, but after the bang and smoke I will not be using it anymore.. time to see if there is anything I can do via cyber power themselves else its a lot of money for only 2 years of service.

Useful, very useful.
Power outages don’t happen very often but when they do I no longer need to worry about my PC?Anything from 15minutes to safely shut down the computer all the way to 220 minutes.More than enough time.
