Instructions provided are terrible and worthless but go to YouTube and you can figure it out

It works fine but one button controls on/off of alarm even when tried to program it again..

We bought a used 2002 Xterra with no information on the remote start. Didn't know model name or anything. Just had one of the set of two fobs to go from. Went to Avital website and then Discount Electronics to find a replacement. Emailed Discount Electronics to ask if this fob was the replacement for our old one. They responded by email that it was. We purchased it from Amazon and when it arrived, we had no knowledge of how to program it since we didn't know the model number. a wonderful guy at Best Buy did it for us for free. Since then it has worked wonderfully!

It took me 10 mins to find the push button and 5 mins to program! Make sure the key is on as in right before you start the car position!

It's as same as my 2007 Tacoma but one of the cover on the button was torn... caused the locks open and close when the slightest touch.... used my old button parts to fix it...
