Beautiful! shipped fast, good price, easy to install! Oh, and by the way, the instructions on the back don't tell you this but the big thick washer goes between the bottom of the tub and the drain pipe - not between the top of the tub and the drain assy. like so many people will assume. Just use a screwdrive handle to push the drain pipe down a little bit to get the old one out and squeeze the new one in.

Finish is great. Machining was perfect. Great replacement for brushed nickel drain. Would buy again.

This is a very heavy solid product. The only issue is the confusion of where to install the black round rubber gasket. The gasket goes on the outer or under the tub (between the PVC pipe and the tub IF NEEDED). You must use plumbers putty to install between this drain and the tub. My install already had a rubber gasket therefore I did not need the one that came in the packaging.

Fit and works great

To clarify the sizing issue, this drain/strainer is sized at 1 7/8" or 1.875 in diameter. It does not come with an adapter for 2" or larger so you will have to purchase those separately if needed. I ordered a 2.11 Watco brass adapter from H.D. and the inside thread pitch was a perfect match to the original Kohler drain . The drain/strainer is good quality brass that should last for years. If the specs were listed this would have gotten 5 stars, but had to knock off a star due to that omission and the part wasn't even listed on the Keeney website so make sure you measure the existing drain/strainer carefully prior to ordering this part.
