This works perfectly and is exactly as described. We have made potato chips and dried apples with cinnamon and ginger. The cuts are perfect. I would suggest you order a glove that does not cut and then use this mandolin for many different things. The quality is very good the base is sturdy, the blades are super sharp. It makes drying fruit very fast. Also when drying items that are the exact same size, the drying time can be perfected.

Wow this Chopper is great. I just got it and had to try it out. What a game changer. I had one 8 years ago that must have been a cheap version since it never worked well. I donated it to good will. I have since seen so many videos of others using them and how easy and well it works for them that I started to look at getting it another time. I researched and checked reviews and settled on this one. It's great I look forward to using it more and cutting my meal prep time in half. I will add there is a slight learning curve to size of vegetables and amount of force to chop them. But I was able to figure it out. I am impressed with the quality of the chopper as well. It's sturdy and I love that it offers the mandolin as well. I will try that out once I get a cutting glove since I have read how sharp it is. The blades on the Chopper are sharp which it's suppose to be just have to be mindful. I will add that when I chopped my vegetables yesterday the uniformity in the size and consistency was so impressive. Definitely happy with this and glad I decided to try it out again.

I bought the Mueller Pro-Series 10-in-1 Vegetable Chopper because weeknight meal prep was taking too long, especially onions, peppers, and potatoes. I was deciding between continuing to hand-dice or getting a container-style chopper to speed up bulk prep. Usage: Owned for a few weeks, used several times per week for salsa ingredients, omelets, stir fry vegetables, and salad toppings. Performance – Build quality: sturdy plastic frame with solid locking pressure plate, doesn’t flex when pressing down – Main function: dices onions and peppers evenly in one push, potatoes need two presses but still faster than knife work – Comfort/usability: very little hand fatigue compared to knife chopping; container keeps pieces contained instead of scattering across the board – Durability: blades stayed sharp after repeated use and washing – Cleaning: rinses quickly and dishwasher safe parts are convenient  Downsides: Large carrots and sweet potatoes need to be pre-cut into chunks first. Also the blade grid requires a quick rinse immediately after use so food doesn’t dry into the squares. Compared to: Faster and more consistent than hand chopping and cleaner than using a cutting board. Not as flexible as a knife for fine mincing herbs, but dramatically quicker for bulk vegetables. Final verdict: Buy if you regularly cook meals with multiple chopped vegetables and want to cut prep time. Skip if you only cook occasionally or need precise chef-knife level cuts.

This is a great product! So far I've only used one type blade for salad ingredients and strawberries. I really like it and it's made making salads fun and easy (faster chopping and I like the size). I wish the container was just a bit taller to fit all the parts in as the lid on mine for storing is a bit loose. I probably don't have things back in it as they're suppose to be though. Caution: Blades are extremely SHARP and not being careful I sliced my finger tip on one getting the parts out of the container. I really do like this and will purchase again if this one ever breaks.

I have only needed to use it once so far but I LOVE this chopper/slicer! I made some split pea soup and it made the prep work so much easier and actually enjoyable. Dicing onions, celery etc, slicing carrots, it was a breeze. Keep in mind that you do have to pre cut the vegetables so that they fit into the grid area but it is so much faster and easier, especially if you have neck or back pain that limits your cooking ability. Clean up was pretty straightforward, celery fibers were the most difficult to remove but with the little tool and brush that is included it really didn’t take too much effort- I always clean as I go anyway so I did a quick rinse as I finish chopping before I used the slicer function just so nothing got stuck. The pieces will all fit inside the clear container although it is a bit fiddly to get them in. I read a lot of reviews and comparisons online before I bought this one and I am very pleased with it.

Best buy ever! This is so easy and quick to use! I haven't used all blades but this has worked so well. I love being able to shred my own cheese and make pico de gallo very easily rather than chopping it by hand! This is a personal problem I can't for the life of me get the cheese to stay on the safety guard so I might have to buy one of those safety gloves. I haven't cleaned the main piece that you use to slap chop it yet (I just made the pico now and it's wonderful!) but everything else I've thrown in the dishwasher and it's like new again! I do wish the blade box had a lid of some sort to it but it's not that much of a problem to me I can handle it lol. Other than that it's a great kitchen gadget to have and I will definitely use it a lot!
