We use this at Halloween and Xmas for outdoor lights. Usually we have 3-4 extension cords hidden underneath on walk ways. Works great. Make sure to order a length long enough to cover your walk way.

This is a good product. Heavy enough rubber that it doesn’t need tape to stay in one spot. Durable, hardly any odor. I ordered the 60” length and it arrived as a long, 60”, unrolled package so no straightening, heating, or weighting is required (the rubber is fairly stiff so rolling it would be really difficult). I used a regular wood hand-saw to cut to my needed length. Took less than 5 minutes (including clean-up). The channel dimensions are exactly as advertised, so my 12-gauge chord fit within it with enough spare room for a couple of additional chords. Just wish I hadn’t wasted $ on a cheap-a$$, flimsy cover from HD that didn’t accommodate my chord size, didn’t lie flat on the floor without prior heat treatment, and didn’t stick to the double-sided tape that is still stuck to my basement floor!

I purchased this to cover my Tesla charging cable at my condo, which runs across a sidewalk. So far it’s perfesct! While the cover is not long enough to cover the entire width of the sidewalk, it covers most of sidewalk where people will be walking. The cover arrived in perfect condition and lays perfectly flat. My cable is ½ inch thick and it fits with just enough height clearance in the channel of this cover. I could probably fit another cable running along side it.UPDATE: I actually returned the 36” black and ordered the 60” yellow. This size is perfect for covering the entire width of the sidewalk, plus the yellow makes the cover easily visible so nobody in my area will trip on it. It’s been very durable and held up well over the past year. I’d recommend it to any Tesla owner!

I had trouble finding a cable cover that was 5" wide to hide a large bundle of cables crossing a room. There is a 5" gap between two carpets, and most of the covers I found were only 3" wide and only had space underneath for one or two cords. Although my cable bundle still has trouble fitting underneath this cover, the cover does the job of protecting them and has a good neutral color that disappears into the background, as I wanted. Another big plus: It came shipped flat in a long box, not rolled up as I saw many complaints on other product reviews. This one is stiff so it would not have rolled up in any case. The best choice for my needs.

Very nice product. I was looking for cord protector to use at events where I run a photo booth. I needed it to keep people from tripping over the power cable. I found some cord protectors at the local big box retail stores but I didn't like how it was curled up into a ball and they didn't seem heavy duty enough.The nice thing about this cord protector is that it feels heavy duty. It's pretty solid and thick. I like how I can just drop it over the cord and be done with it instead of stuffing the cord inside like with the others. Another nice thing about is that it feels heavy. It doesn't feel like it'll move easily.Only bad thing I can think of is that it's pretty short. I bought two but might need a 3rd.Overall, I would totally recommend this product.

Needed it to go across the threshold at my front door. Lays flat enough to clear my storm door. I trimmed the ends off where it would connect to another unit to give it a more finished look. Don't have to worry about someone getting a foot caught in the cord. Looks like it might last forever. Really sturdy.

These are great. They're heavy enough that they don't need to be adhered to the floor, they lay flat almost immediately, particularly if you roll them opposite to the way they were packaged. I run ethernet,phone and AC through them with plenty of room for more. They're a little more "industrial" looking than some might wish, but since they're black, they more or less disappear. The type usually sold for office use neer looks that great, and you have to tape them to the floor. Not great for the carpet. They connect together nicely, that makes them heavier and less likely to skate around. They're way nicer in form and function than the more office oriented cord protectors I've seen.They cut to fit where necessary. I used a fine woodworking saw, and it left a nice clean edge.

The product arrived quick and was packed nicely from amazon. Overall the product feels heavy and of good quality. I bought one to use outside on the sidewalk when I am using extension cords. 12guage fits snuggly but it may vary based on the type of cord and insulation. I sprayed the word "bump" on both sides with glow in the dark paint and plan to repurpose a cheap 1$ solar light that I have laying around and embed it into the cable cover. Hopefully that will provide enough visibility but I am sure someone will still trip over everything spectacularly and get hurt..... Not because of the product itself though. It feels solid and secure and doesn't seem like it will be easy to move while placed on the ground.
