Just received and tried with carrots straight away! Seconds, and my carrot is shredded! I was refusing to make shredded salads which I love extremely due to me hating grating the veggies via conventional grater. This small handy shredder is a gem for salad lovers like me. Also, it will speed up grating veggies for my beetroot borsch which I normally make a huge pot. It is so easy to assemble, so easy a quick to clean under running water, which adds value. So much money I wasted buying stuff which was not used due to not really making a significant difference to me in easing and speeding up cooking. I have got two types of grater plus conventional, and not using them as one of them rather work for if you need to prepare a bulk of salads, or another one is just protecting your fingers from being damaged, which is not good enough as has limited value. This small gadget does not require electricity which will be handy for those who say live in summer houses or caravans, but also reduce your dependency on electricity. It not not stick to table surface initially until I figured out that there is a locker to be moved to fix it! And it is such big plus that it has such a small size unlike other similar appliances which require quite a space. Thinking to buy this for my mother now!

Works well with larger workloads but hassle to clean if only preparing a small meal.

Excellent for cheese and a bit more hard work for hard vegetables like swede but overall a good buy

As an avid (amateur!) bread-maker, I was requested to make cheese bread by some of my friends. It wasn't something that I had attempted before, but it was successful. The problem was that grating 125g of mature cheddar every time was giving me muscles like Popeye ( I also use Olive Oyl in the recipe!). Take a bow Ancevsk Cheese grater, you saved my sanity!This little beauty grated boatloads of cheddar and parmesan in about a minute. No stress; no histrionics, it stuck to the bench like a barnacle on a boat. So good at doing it, that I then proceeded to grate a load of extra cheese and bagged it ready for future use.Then I cleaned it. It came apart very easily: I cleaned it alongside all the other paraphernalia that I use for baking and dried it off. So easy! The drum cleaned in seconds: the base cleaned in seconds, the main body also cleaned in seconds. The handle was clean anyway, but I washed it for an encore!The only minor gripe is that part of the base is difficult to dry, but that's it. I even grated garlic with it and lived to tell this tale. I like it so much that I'm going to ask my 6 year-old Granddaughter to give it a name, just like she did with the new Tomato plants (One is called Tom, and the other is called Arto!).

Works well comes apart easily to cleanBit hard to turn the handle but I have arthritis in my hands so that don't help suction not that great dose move after a while
