Sturdy and my old cat has started using this instead of sharpening her claws on the furniture. You get a bit of cardboard mess, but nothing major. Good buy for the price.

I bought it as my cat loves sharpening her claws on our rug, so some form of ground scratcher was ideal. It’s cheap but surprisingly sturdy, made of compact corrugated cardboard. It’s a little bit worn a few weeks in but my cat loves it! She sleeps on it constantly and uses it loads, and it’s holding up well considering the constant use it gets. The only downside is that its light build means it moves a lot when she does scratch (she’s quite a solid strong cat) and her hairs have been getting caught in between the holes which is hard to clean at times, but for the price I’m really happy and would definitely reorder. Thank you!

Our cats loved this and much better for them to sharpen their claws rather than our sofa! They also slept on it. Good quality and lasted a while.

Our cats love this. But the item is smaller than it appears in the photo, so be sure to measure it so you’re not surprised. Still works for medium sized cat but a big cat won’t fit comfortably in my opinion

Item arrived in good condition (there was a slight section of cardboard that looked worn but aside from that)We originally had a scratch pad from the shelter where we got our cat, it was already falling to pieces but he loved it so we kept it for months especially as we wanted him to settle in before gradual change.It affected me negatively as it got more & more tattered and cardboard was shredding off constantly that hoovering needed to be a constant job, the floor was never cleanWe found this which was similar to the original one we had (with the arch underneath), our cat took to it right away and so far it hasn't been shredding cardboard & it has made such a difference to the cleanliness of our living room thank god, hoping it holds up but very happy with the change so farTop tip: I fling our wand toy underneath the scratch pad "hiding" it and our cat dives towards it to find the toy, he loves it! Hence why we wanted to find one with the underneath arch.We also do this with a cat rope toy where we play peek-a-boo by poking it through to the other side of the cat flap flinging it aboutOur cat gets bored easily but he loves it as he can "hunt" plus the wiggle butt is adorableGive it a try if you're looking for different ways to play with your cat
