Great roasting! I would recommending a 1/4 lb for best roasting. Too little and it burns. Too much and it’ll be uneven. Like that you don’t have to stir and the lid can stay on during the roast.

This is a great tool to learn how to roast coffee as you like. This is no professional device, but for home, hobby, etc., it works great.

It does its job though I am not too sure I would recommend it. the parts are pretty cheap and clean up Is pretty much a no go unless you wipe it down. the parts do not come apart for cleaning and many coffee beans tend to get stuck under the metal mechanism . To get the bowl out you need tools. As a kitchen appliance I feel it should be much easier to clean. this is far from easy to clean. when it works, it works however. Pretty cheaply made. Also this model is in Celsius not Fahrenheit.

Easy to use, easy to clean however it broke within just a few uses. The agitator stopped moving around. Sounded like the gears broke??

My first impression was that it was inexpensive. Then the first couple of times I roasted in it, the beans tasted a little bit like metal and did not roast as easily as I had hoped. Fast forward to a year and a half later and this thing is awesome. I can roast more than a pound at a time and the flavor and consistency are awesome. It roasts very evenly and it’s very easy to clean…just wipe the base with a damp cloth and clean the lid like a dish. There is no fan or vacuum so it gets a little messy. I roast outside so it doesn’t make a mess. I will definitely buy another one if mine dies but so far it works perfectly. I usually roast 2-3 pounds per week.

Very easy to use. 180 degrees for 30 minutes gets the right roasting for me. Easy to clean also.
