Q: Do i re-charge this scale just by keeping it plugged in? and once the battery is charged will the machine say that it is? or how would we know?

Yes, it recharges when it is plugged in. I operate a produce stand and used it everyday then charged it at night. However, the battery lasted a month and replacement batteries are not available so now it only works when plugged in. There is a light that comes on to show it is plugged in but not whether it is charging. Save yourself some aggravation and purchase a higher quality scale.

Q: Is this legal for trade ntep - if not i can not use it in my deli?

In the US it did not pass a Missouri Department of Agriculture Legal Scale. I could only use it as an estimate.

After much searching, I found this video is the instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMGpM6gU7JM although it's in hindi, the guy has the instructions in english in the video, and there is another video in spanish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWLFIeJhp-c Just in case here are the instructions Press 3658 Tare 1 Tare When showing 2 put the weight on plate Press Tare button When showing 3, write weight value (if it's 5kg's type 5000) Press Tare When showing 4, write total capacity of platform 30kg (type 30000) Press Tare When showing 5, write 3 or 2 (the amount of decimal places you want the scale to display, I use 2) and press Tare button When showing 6, write 10, 5, 2 or 1 (amount divisible by, I use 1) and press Tare button Calibration complete
