Fresh and delicious coffee. Fast shipping.
Tried medium dark roast for the first time and it came out fantastic. Just simple American black brew. Great aroma and taste...similar to the Dunkin' medium roast in America. No tweaking of coffee powder amount was needed. Fresh grind per packing date. Resealable bag is useful. Would like to try different roasts of this brand in future. Thank you to seller and Amazon.

Good for beginners. Very low bitterness
Compared to darker roasts, this coffee has a much higher extraction time. First the fruity, sour notes extract at the 2 minute mark, with the sugary notes starting at 8. The sweetness plateaus at around 10 minutes, and then extraction seems to have stopped. Overall, after 12 minutes of extraction in a French press with overheated water and ultra fine grind, almost no bitter flavours were extracted. The sweetness is also low, but can be enjoyable if you prefer things like lemon tea.

Basic daily coffee
I recently tried Blue Tokai’s Attikan Estate coffee, and it’s quickly become a favorite. Here’s why:**Aroma and Flavor:**Right out of the bag, the aroma is incredible – floral, fruity, with a hint of spice and chocolate. The taste doesn’t disappoint either. It has a bright, citrusy acidity balanced by a caramel sweetness. There’s also a touch of nuttiness and cocoa that adds depth.**Body and Acidity:**The coffee has a smooth, medium to full body that’s really satisfying. The acidity is bright but not overpowering, which I love.**Brewing Methods:**I’ve tried it as a pour-over and in my French press. The pour-over brings out the nuanced flavors, while the French press highlights the rich body. I even made a cold brew, and it was super smooth and refreshing.**Pros:**- Complex and well-balanced flavors.- Great for different brewing methods.- Consistently high quality.**Cons:**- The bright acidity might be too much for those who prefer milder coffee.- Sometimes hard to find, depending on the season.**Overall:**Blue Tokai’s Attikan Estate coffee is a winner in my book. It’s got a vibrant, balanced taste that makes my mornings a lot better. If you’re into flavorful, well-rounded coffee, give this one a try!
