I hesitated with this book as the cover looked very young - however Sophie was delighted with it, especially the sections on painting trees and water. We hope she will continue to enjoy it.

We looked everywhere for a 'book on doing Art' (as written on our 10 yr old granddaughter's Christmas list.) I hesitated with this book as the cover looked very young - however Sophie was delighted with it, especially the sections on painting trees and water. We hope she will continue to enjoy it.

Great ideas but a little difficult for 7 year old . Would suggest 10+

A children's Art Book bursting with creative ideas. Full of suggestions but not too prescriptive and using a wide variety of materials. It was bought as a present and looks full of fun.
