Solar Radiation Shield

The media could not be loaded. I’m using it for a pipe heater controller. Should be just fine.

Great product, my thermostat now registers proper temperature. The reason why I gave four stars is the price. It really should be around $15 and not more.

Looks great and has a simple yet effective design, but there were a couple quality control issues with this product.The hole in the main bracket for cord grip (cable strain relief) is too small therefore you have to drill this hole larger in order to get the grip installed. The seller / manufacturer replied that they are working on a fix with their sheet metal vendor and offered to send a replacement free of charge.Also, the #6 machine screws and nuts to mount a sensor on the inside of the main bracket go right through the pre-drilled holes because the wholes were drilled too large. A couple of washers fixed the issue. Waiting for a resolution on this issue from seller / manufacturer for future shipments.

It's okay. the hanger part is stainless steel which is nice, but the shield is much smaller than the description implies, the plastic part is only about 2.5" wide and about 7-8" tall.

A bit flimsy but it does the job. The bottom metal bar extends into the shield so you can mount your sensors on it even if it's not the exact model it's designed for.

too small diameter for Netatmo to fit into,which is why it was purchased,back it goes.

This Is just what I needed for the Lacrosse sensor in my aluminum greenhouse. It mounts directly to the glazing rail and the sensor fits inside almost like it was made for it. Inside dimensions were listed as 5" x 1.75" diameter but the 5.25" long sensor fit without a problem.

With a little sandpaper and some elbow grease I was able to fit my NetAtmo outdoor sensor inside to keep it away from direct sun, rain, snow while allowing for accurate weather readings.
