Arm & Hammer Biodegradable HVAC and Air Conditioner Coil Cleaner Foam Aerosol Spray, No Rinse, 19 fl. oz, AHCC-19 by Diversitech

I have two split heat pump systems. I purchased this foam to clean the indoor evaporator. I previously cleaned the outdoor compressor units with a different foam product. I prefer this brand however. The unit is about 7 feet above the floor, I placed a table beneath it and made a water catch basin out of carboard lined with plastic. After spraying the unit and waiting 10 minute I used a water pump hand held spray bottle to water rinse the unit. There was dirty water and many particles being rinsed with the water. I believe a rinse must be used to obtain the cleaning. I have another foam container on order for the second indoor unit that needs to be cleaned.

Works well, the smell isn’t too strong. Used it to clean out my air conditioners from last summer. Did the job!

This product cleans dirt and crud well. Smells nice and is easy to use. Foams up and seems to penetrate the coil fins. Unfortunately, it did not remove or kill the DSS mold on my A-coils. Smell came back in 2 days. Will keep looking for a solution. Have tried many products, none last very long.

I have not used this yet because Amazon description states no rinse. However, once I received it the directions clearly say to rinse. I bought this for an inside unit that cannot be rinsed.
