Has anyone put this in the dishwasher? That's the main reason I chose this but the listing & packaging say 2 different things.

I have not put mine in the dishwasher but only because I don’t use my dishwasher all of the time not because I am afraid to do so.

How has yours held up after frequent/multiple dishwashing?

No its not magnetic! It has a hole in end of handle and I hang it on a hook!

Is this suitable for beating my meat if it's very large?

If your meat is very large this will beat it nicely by wrapping your meat in a thin protectorate. I use plastic wrap so that it will take a pounding evenly and come out thin yet relaxed.
