Readings are all over the place and unreliable. Testing the same body part at the same distance a few seconds apart and got variable readings, often it just reported “Lo”. Used it with another thermometer I was trying to replace but I’m keeping the old one. Ironically the side by side test made me appreciate what I already had. Returning this device.

The thermometer that I ordered is not working anymore, I was able to use it for three weeks only and no more. I was making comment regarding it but I was not able to finish it. I am about to ask for a refund or send me another item. The price of that item which is $20.00, for me is a big amount. And now I WANT A REFUND OR SEND ME ANOTHER INFRERED THERMOMETER THAT I CAN used for a long time not three weeks only.

Excellent product, just be aware that holding the mode button down for more than 3-4 secs resets the thermometer and you have to recalibrate it. This is not a down rating, just a word of caution, have had to recalibrate 3 times so far as I keep forgetting /facepalm

Arrived timely and worked as advertised. I don't know how long it lasts because I have not had it that long but it seems fine so far.

Awesome thermometer.
So far, I love this! I would definitely recommend this little digital thermometer. It's not too big and not too little either. It fits just right in your hand and the lcd display is amazing and super easy to read. The frowny and happy face are a plus and so cute. I love it! I think the only thing I would say that I didnt like (but it's no biggy) is that you need another thermometer to calibrate it. Which makes sense but what if this is the only thermometer that someone has? But that was the only thing that crossed my mind. Nevertheless. It is an amazing thermometer. You will not be disappointed. I truly love the product. makes my life just a bit less hectic when I'm more concerned about my kids health and well being. All you need to.do.is point and pull the trigger. I've found that the bright led screen keeps my baby distracted and still to get an accurate reading
