I never promote stuff but this camera led light is amazing so much better and not all clunky with a sony battery you can toggle brightness and kelvin on the fly ! Great light ! Best on board video light I have ever purchased gonna buy another one to keep charging as a back up but pulled of a hole shoot with this great fill light !!! I love this light for adding a little extra when shooting receptions. I am a natural light photographer but love this to add a little extra to dancing shots. Battery life not very impressive but I love that I can set the level of brightness and also the temperature! Great gadget!

Good light, with decent battery life, but the UI could be way better - hold button for a long time to turn on, and same to turn off. Not quick to activate when needed. Also the display on the back flickers and it's a bit annoying and distracting with movement. Might not bother most, but it bugs me.

LOVE the Lume Cube!! Works fantastic for photographing wedding receptions & exits in low light! The adjustable brightness & warmth is great and the size makes it super easy to work with & fit into your gear bag. It’s small enough to keep in a back pocket! Highly recommend!

Small yet extremely bright, this versatile light is a must for serious videography on the go. The ability to adjust the light temperature to match the ambient is really valuable for still photography too. Takes the guess work out of relying on a fill flash. The battery lasts for an all-day shoot, or in my case a full 3 hour hike through the park. The base mount is a little iffy, so this kit that includes the DSLR mount is much nicer and allows for angled adjustments. Whether you're shooting photos or videos, this versatile light deserves to be in your bag if it's not already on your camera.

I am a podcast host and do extensive research on gear before I make a purchase. I had high hopes for this product but was disappointed when it stopped working within a year of it's purchase. I recently moved and stumbled upon the light in the bottom of a box and thought I would provide a review for others benefit. While using the light it did deliver on what I expected. It is compact, light weight and a filter can be added. The battery life was decent when it worked. I was on location getting my gear set up for my interview and the light would not power up. The previous evening I made sure it was plugged in and charging since my interview was in a location with no outlets readily available. When I left my house the Lume light indicated it was at 100%. When I set up at the location it would not turn on or anything. There was no visible damage anywhere on the Lume light. Needless to say, I was disappointed and frustrated. I always bring a back-up but I feel like I wasted $100.

I cannot yet speak to the functionality of the Lume Cube because I just received it yesterday. However, charging cable was missing! Do I return item to wait for complete set? Not an option as I need it for wedding shoot. Do I purchase a charging cable? Well I will have to. I had already purchased as part of package! And expected a complete set. Check your boxes and items. It's an insult to have to purchase another charging cable. Very annoying. Update: 2/27/24 Lume Cube responded to my compliant by sending charger cable. I appreciate a company that can address issues without hesitation. Thank you!

Battery life at 100% charge and 100% brightness was only shown as 21 minutes not 1.3 hours advertised. Diffuser cover can't be removed without unscrewing light from its mount.
