Item worked for the job I had which was to hold down some white wall paper that was coming up here and there.

I installed the cheapo White Papar Shades that look similar to expensive Hunter Douglas Window Treatments. They don't always hold up on high gloss painted window frames. The White Capped Tacks are PERFECT for holding the shades in place, while barely noticable. Brassy finish tacks underneath. White painted caps blend perfectly with white shades on painted white wooden window frames. Probably paid 2x the store price. But worth it to have dropped off between 4am and 8am.

Previously, 15+years ago,, I had used thumbtacks to secure batting and cover material to the wood in my stool that goes with my dresser. These thumbtacks bend, so it was rather frustrating to get the job done. Actually, what you see is a temporary cover, as my material is in a chest that the contractors have turned against the wall, and the drawers could not be opened 🤭😉

Used these to put up "floating" mushrooms in my kitchen. They've been up for months now with no issues. Very happy.

Terrible product. I was trying to tack shelf liners to some new kitchen cabinet interiors. Almost every tack bent and became useless.

They are not very sturdy. The 2 piece seperate and they fall apart.

Visited four separate stores downtown in an urban centre and not a single one had thumbtacks. One had big plastic pushpins. Do I know that buying things on Amazon is destroying local businesses and that's why I can't find anything downtown? Yes. It's a vicious circle. The tacks are fine, flat on one end, pointy on the other.

Not one has fallen out of the wall!

They are not reflective and the white tops pop off but that mashed them basic brass ones. They still work but I wished the white actual stayed on.
