Protective Edge Guard - 22 feet Long

We put in the water barriers between our yard and the neighbors, who always drains his sump pump into our back yard. The protective top keeps the material from developing a sharp edge, that keeps gardeners and our pup safe. Great stuff, easy to install, works wonderfully well.

I have a medium backyard with landscaping that is bordered with green steel landscape border. I also have two young dogs who are very active in the backyard. There have been two incidents where I witnessed one of the dogs hurting themselves on the hard metal border. Either nicking a paw or stepping on an exposed corner. I bought this product to cover the top of the metal border and provide a less dangerous obstacle in the yard. This has worked well for this purpose. What is even more impressive is this product's ability to stay in place. It's more durable than I expected and it has a surprising grip strength to hold onto the steel border. I thought my dogs would discover it and chew it off the borders, but they seem to leave it alone and even if they did they would find it difficult to remove. There's some actual engineering and thought that went into the product which is why I can give it 5 stars even though it is so expensive.

This is not the easiest product to slide over your landscape edging but it’s easy to cut into sizes in order to manipulate around the grass and landscaping

Easy to install and very sturdy. Metal incased in rubber should provide many years of service. Heavy shears need to be used for cutting to correct length.
