Perfect with HP Probook
I have used these adapters for over a year now and they work still perfectly fine with my HP Probook. Not easy to find the right fit, but these are! Mine is a Probook 455 8G model.

I am sure this is a good product. The convert size didn't work for me on the one end. I had nothing to reference the female size by. Amazon as usual made the return very easy

Missing the sense wire, avoid!
Caution: Missing the sense wire. This wire communicates with a One-Wire IC embedded in the charger, which reports the charger’s identity when queried by the laptop. The result is the laptop will report as unable to see the power supply, not charge the battery, and run the laptop at a MUCH reduced speed.

Great for recycling old power adapters
Worked well at transforming an old 180W power adapter into an HP workstation power adapter.

Might cause decrease in CPU performance due to voltage issues
Most Dell laptops will give you a warning about the AC power voltage , this can cause your CPU to run slower while plugged in. It still charges the device though.

Saves buying a new PSU
I have a few of the older style HP chargers that don't fit the new thinner plug, saved having to buy some new PSUs
