Much more sturdy that I expected, these things are great. I wouldn’t sit on them, but I have no fear of having my gear on them.

My hubby installed these and said they were pretty easy, we did use bigger anchors though. It flips down out of the way, and I can use it for all of my ironing, sewing and crafting.

Very cheap. When screwing 3/4 in plywood to bracket with screws that were included through the hole provided the brackets would shift therefore, not line up and not close all the way. The metal is so thin and weak!! On top of this and having to buy better anchors they are not worth it!

The good - these are sturdy brackets with a good weight capacity, and easy to operate levers to unlock the folding mechanism.The bad - they are wicked difficult to install!! They also arrived and were REALLY dirty. I think it was just metal dust and other manufacturing debris, but it was kind of awful how dirty they were. Don't touch your wall after you touch the brackets, that is for sure. I also had to kind of MacGuyver my tools to get the screws into these. I used my impact drill for the top wall screw hole and still had to put it in at an angle to squeeze it in, and then I had to add extender attachments to work around the hinge for the lower ones. I made it work, but it is really tough to ensure things go in level and square because of how things are built, and apparently no way to disassemble for installation. Because of said issues, I discovered that one of my brackets isn't squared up so the drop down function of these is impaired. At the end of the day, we aren't planning to have our counter dropped all that often, but if that function is critically important - best of luck to you!
