EDIT: I am very disappointed that this cable stopped working after 6 months. It seemed well made, but clearly there is a poor wiring connection, in my case at the USB-C end of the cable. Only light use. Original review below:I got this cable to charge a Surface Book 1. It's a really nice cable, and it feels like it will last a long time with the braided nylon. The fact that the light matches the colour of the cable is a really nice touch and makes it unique. It works fine with two Power Delivery (PD) chargers that I have. The one disappointment is that, as another reviewer noted, this particular cable doesn't work properly with a PD-enabled 26,800 mAh Power Bank which is supposed to be universally compatible and explicitly lists 15V/3A as a supported output on USB-C. The funny thing is that I have another Sisyphy cable (black, non-braided) that *does* work with the same Power Bank and the same Surface Book perfectly well. With this (non-functioning) cable connected to the Power Bank, the light does come on and it appears to start charging, but after one second the charge goes off (light remains on), and then it keeps cycling between charge and no charge (the PC shows this happening when I open the battery settings). The PC's battery does *not* charge and slowly drains. Despite this slight issue, I'm still keeping this cable because I usually use it with PD wall chargers, and it is otherwise very good at its job.

Surface laptop adaptors are hard to find, if travelling. This cable allows me to reducey electronics load in my carry on. Braided cable looks well made, the light on the "plug" is bright blue, so easy to see if connected.Saves me carrying weight, plus one less travel plug adapter! If you have surface laptop, and travel abroad, this cable is a must

This is my third charger. The original just died and I replaced it with a M'soft one. That lasted a while, but the wire frayed and then broke at the junction with the connector.I selected this one because it has a much more substantial lead as well as the extra length.

One of the few ones out there that actually WORK.

I am very happy to have a viable alternative to the heavy, clunky charger that came with my Surface Go. A big thanks to the guy who answered my questions so fully and gave me the confidence to give this a try. I can't comment on longevity yet as it's only been about 6 months but it's at the bottom of my bag all the time and so far no probs.

I tested on my surface laptop, using this cable would take twice the time to fully charge than using a PD USB-C cable from the same charger.
