GUANLANG 20 Sets Magnetic Button Clasp Snaps 18mm - Great for Sewing, Craft, Purses, Bags, Clothes, Leather

So I bought this after using this sort of closure purchased at Tandy leather. Per closure this costs something like 10% of the tandy brand. Of course the quality is not quite as good on these. That has to be expected.With that said, for about $0.30 this is a totally great magnetic closure. I've used them on a couple of leather working projects and they have worked perfect. They look nice and after installation are pretty much indistinguishable from the more expensive ones.My package arrived promptly. It was all shoved into one bag kind of tight. But I'm a grown up and I can sort those things out.

I watched a YouTube video to figure out how to use these and it was so helpful. It does help if you dab some fabric glue around it and also add some fleece or felt fabric to the back before putting the back piece on and using the prongs. I typically cut two squares a tiny bit bigger than the clasp itself and add two slits in them. I then (once it is through the fabric) add the felt on the back(2 pieces) then use the back piece, and then use my pliers to tightly fasten the prongs. Any YouTube video will help you figure it out if you’re having any issues. Overall I think, great product for the money.

They are a good bargain, and work great. Good and durable quality...perhaps a but too durable in some applications...I say This because the magnet may be a bit too strong, and pulling it apart can cause damage to the material it is attached to in some applications. My wife crochet'd the kids some purses, and used these as a means to close the purse instead of a zipper...she had to reinforce the areas where these were applied to keep them from pulling to hard and messing up the crochet work....so 4 stars...They work very well, I do recommend them, just wish they had a bit less strong of a magnet, but then again...I'd rather have a too strong magnet than a not strong enough one lol!

I have started crocheting purses and totebags and wanted to use snaps for the top closure. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I am happy to report that they are extremely easy to install (if that is the right word) onto the yarn and they are stylish and have a strong magnetic closure, but easy to open. I highly recommend these for your projects.

I used this item as a closure for a tote I wanted to make. It worked perfectly, and was easy to install. I plan to make more totes for my next church bazaar. The magnetic clasps were a real bargain.

These were so easy to use, and saved me from whipping out the old needle and thread. Found a YouTube video showing tips on using these snaps. Very quick to add to a cover I made for an elliptical machine. The covers cost a fortune, so I made my own using an old trailer cover and these snaps instead of trying to sew the thing together. I even have leftover snaps for future projects....

I use these in the purses I make and they stay securely closed plus they are super easy and fun to attach.
