Smart Planet BNB-1PP Bacon Nation Pulled Pork Slow Cooker, Pink

Bought for my daughter for a Christmas present. First time she used it, the cooker shorted out, blew a breaker, and almost exploded. Very concerned that this product may not ne safe.

Works really well and is the perfect size for a singleton or couple however the thing that drew me to it, the cute little piggy lid is the that is annoying me now. Its plastic. Light pink, non dishwashable plastic. I sometimes cook with BBQ sauce in this, namely ribs. If, and when, the sauce gets on the lid it stains and discolors. And no matter how much I clean it by hand the damage is done. Have a feeling I'll be replacing this soon with a full dishwashable set.

I purchased the slow cooker to replace an identical 2 year old Bacon Nation Pulled Pork Cooker that fell apart.Namely the base, which houses the electrical wiring and controls unexpectedly separated for the the cooker.How the manufacturer was able to insert the cooker shell into the base is a mystery to me. I tried until I was almost blue in the face and had no luck luck whatsoever. The metal base and cooker shell is constructed out of really flimsy sheet metal that easily bent when I attempted to insert the shell back into the base.Because my wife really liked the cooker and it's anal steam vent, I ordered this replacement.

Love the pig but to small to cook anything in.

I used this twice, within the last week. I used the BNB, to make a home made dip. The second time I cooked two lbs. of bacon, and then transferred the bacon to the BNB pot, and just used the warm function. This device is not only functional but is by far, one of the cutest. I love it!

This is the cutest slow cooker. Works great, makes amazing pulled pork sandwiches. If you don't have a recipe just follow the simple recipe in the instruction booklet that comes with the slow cooker! It is on the small side but makes plenty for two people. I'm waiting for the larger version just because the pig on the top is adorable!

I love the beautiful pink color! It looks great in my pink kitchen! I don’t eat pork, so I use this cooker for smoked turkey wings, and small chicken pieces. Very easy to use, and easy to clean! I am very pleased with my purchase!

Being obsessed with the color pink and finding a small slow cooker at a very reasonable price was a surprise to me.I have used it and so for it is really wonderful, an beautiful aid in cooking. An added Pink Cooking appliance to my collection.Thanks!
