This is a great product and would have been easy to install if the CRADLE does not let the locks bounce off during installation. It should only bounce off after closing the drawers to get glued. I think the one and only cradle that came with this 12 pc. set is a little loose making the locks fall off during install. Hope the vendor can send me another cradle.UPDATE!!! Seller reached out to send me a refund and a new 12 pc set! This is amazing when the seller goes ABOVE & BEYOND!!!SKYLA HOMES you are one in a million!

Great product. Easy to use. Adhesive is holding well so far. Magnet and latch system work really well. You don't need the magnet to be too close to the latch to activate it. The installation can require some trial and error. The jig that is provided helps, but you may need to move the components a bit to make them work smoothly. We'll see how long they last and if they can withstand some intense toddler pulling.

They work really well and are easy to use, it may be a bit trick to set up at first but after you put in one the rest are easy, it’s worth the price. The magnet is not super strong but other than that I would buy again

I love that this one comes with 2 magnets so you can easily access your cabinets/cupboards without needing to walk across the kitchen.It was a little frustrating trying to set up the hooks. I 100% recommend using the set up frame provided because it makes life SO much easier to set it up correctly.It has worked extremely well to keep our baby out of the drawers and cabinets with potentially dangerous items. Door stays closed and 100% worth it.I’m only giving it a 4 stars because sometimes the hooks don’t sit in the template guide frame very well and come off easily.

This review is for SKYLA HOMES Magnetic Cabinet Locks. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the installer tool is basically useless. I ended up using the screws for installation due to our cabinet style, however the adhesive is very strong. If you’re using the screws you can treat the adhesive to test fit if you apply them very lightly.I was worried it might be more inconvenient than it’s worth for some of the cabinets (pots and pans, tupperware) but it was pretty easy to adjust to using the magnetic key. I suggest getting an extra set of magnets.It’s also great that you can disable the lock when needed.These are going to be my go to baby shower gift from now on.

We’ve found these locks to be a great option for kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as furniture. After installing the first couple it was easy and quick to install the others. If you pay attention as you do it they install really well and have zero issues. The three things to make sure you do correctly are place the lock far enough away from any magnetic closures in your drawer or cabinet so that won’t affect it, make sure it’s aligned properly with the height and depth, and prep the surface beforehand (and let it dry completely). We love that our baby can’t pinch his fingers in any doors or drawers’ gaps as he attempts to get them open (and he tries very hard!), and also that the locks can be deactivated when the baby isn’t around. That’s been a really great feature for extended family as well. Grandparents can install them but only activate them when we come to visit, so they don’t have to deal with childproofed kitchen cabinets all the time.The locks removed well without any damage to the cabinets in our rental home when we moved recently, but we didn’t have any issues with them coming off when our baby pulled on the cabinets, even though he’s very strong for his age and size.The company was also extremely quick and helpful when I reached out with an inquiry about replacement adhesive strips for the backs. I was very impressed, especially after some less than helpful interactions with other companies whose products had issues recently. I will continue to recommend these locks from this brand to all my friends and relatives with little ones.

The work well once you finally get them installed right but that’s the tricky part. The “installation cradle” sucks and both pieces pop out of it very easily. Which is counterintuitive since you have to apply pressure for the adhesive. The adhesive is another problem. It sucks. And the pieces will just pop off or fall off so if you can’t also use the screws provided then don’t even bother with these. The screws are another problem 😂 the self tapping on them sucks and they have to be pushed through the 3m sticky tape so actually getting them started is another hassle all together. We kept them cause we already had them and I could work around these problems but honestly I would NOT buy them again.

Make sure you measure before placing them. It works wonderfully in our kitchen with issues. However, for our breakable cabinets they have already came off. It did not scratch the surface and size is just right for how we have used them. We do have to push the kitchen cabinet doors closed to make sure it locks. It is easy to install if you pay attention to placement. Unlocking is great with their pieces and everything works together well.
