these are replacement cage nuts for your server rack. The rack itself does not come with very many so if you have a lot of things on your rack you will need to buy more. these definitely fit most racks.

Easy to use, good quality, and good for service racks.

I am particularly happy with this pack of cage nuts. While this certainly seems like something to not get very excited about, the last set i had were probably more "heavy duty" but this meant that i had to use pliers to flex them enough to install. These are flexible enough that i can install them just by squeezing, which is a major plus in my mind. Either way, once a screw is put in it the actual clip no longer matters, so i think these are great. P.S. As to the reviews above about thread size, the nuts I got have "M5" stamped on the side of each one as well.

I needed more than the 32 equipment screws that came with my 4-post rack, so I ordered the same size & color: black M6 Cage Nuts. Unfortunately, the cage nits came without the screws. You CAN order the cage nuts WITH the screws if you're more careful than I was. My carelessness is being punished with an exorbitant price for screws and the delay associated with a second order.Installing the cage nuts is problematic when they occupy adjacent squares in the posts. Push the clips through the posts from inside the rack to outside. Adjacent clips often interfere with each other, making insertion difficult. Once the cage is seated, be gentle inserting the screw as the cage can be pushed out of its square until the screw is mostly threaded.

Perfect for what I needed in my 14u rack.. The heads of the screws were widee enough to fit securely over all of my equipment but not enough to interfere with the screw heads right next to each other. Will definitely be getting more in the future as I need them.

Solid screws and clip nuts. Racked a bunch of heavy equipment and they worked perfectly in all instances. Highly recommended.

By far the best cage nut hardware I've used. They are SO much better than the generic pieces of junk I usually encounter. Yes, they're more expensive than most alternatives but they're worth every penny. Highly recommended!
