Great pans especially for the price point
Wanted to transition from non-stick pans. Bought this and have been super happy with it. I make sure to preheat the pan before using and do the water drop test (watched some youtube videos to learn this). Once the pan is properly heated, I'll cook with it. Sometimes I use oil, sometimes i don't (depends on what I am cooking). I haven't had any issues with sticking. Love these pans because of how well they work. A shame they don't come have lid options. They're not heavy at all, which is great for me since my wrists aren't very strong. Pans are easy to clean and I don't have an issue with staining that people mentioned, but I also use bar keeps friend every so often to keep it nice and shiny and they look amazing.

Great Pans, needed more!
We have tried every kind of disappointing non-stick promising pans for years, and none of them live up to their hype. I wish I would have tried stainless steel sooner, but we recently decided to go with Amazon Basics stainless steel cookware, and it cooks so well, and cleans up so easy if you soak it in a little dawn for awhile. I'm still learning, but SS doesn't seem to need as much heat to cook well. I've found that stuff sticks more the higher the heat and less with lower heat. Regardless, a little soaking and the pan is clean, and it doesn't wear out or flake/peel off. Will only use SS from now on.

better than I expected
I have to say that Amazon basics stuff has actually been decent quality for the prices. That's why I tried this set. My old teflon coated was scratched up and besides, I wanted to shift away from toxic non-stick types. Even the stone coated could be toxic when the surface has any tiny break. So overall, it seems all answers kept pointing to Stainless vs iron with SS being all around balanced performer. Granted, I'm not looking to be a pro chef so not spending 200 bucks on a pan but still wanted something great for a decent price. pros: - very nice finish on first impression - clad bottom, works with induction - cooked over fire some burgers and it heat up well. Seems pretty even - cleans off nicely, will update when there's more wear and tear - handle is comfy enough, did not hurt my hand with 3 thick beef patties in the pan - handle feels solidly tacked on - decent gauge of materials (not too thin but not like a tank) cons: - as expected, being a non-non-stick coated pan...will have to go back to using some more oil or butter - none yet but will update if finish, handle or repellency doesn't hold up As of now, I'm happy after a few uses between Salmon and burgers so far.

Well made stainless steel pans
Love these pans! My advice is to lean how to cook in them by watching videos if you are just learning. These cook well, medium heat, don’t heat oil, wait for food to release. Cleaning is easy, add water to pan and leave on cooling stove top. This is a healthy option to using coated non stick pans.

Too Cheap. Don’t Buy.
Garbage. Don’t buy. I am sure there is nice stainless steel out there, but this is awful.

Like These Stainless Steel Fry Pans
I have switched to all stainless steel cookware and needed some fry pans to add to a set bought for me by my son. These are the Amazon basics but they are perfect. I cook bacon in the larger one and it doesn’t stick if you spray just a tad of oil in the pan and use a brush to spread. They clean up really well. I like them a lot. Good price too!
