I bought two punches from this brand. The spring mechanisms require so much strength to press down that I cannot punch through normal cardstock. Even on a solid surface, with all my bodyweight leaning on it, it would not go through the paper. The company website claims this may be "normal" and suggests buying a $60 level contraption to make it "easier." I'm sad because the shapes are unique but don't bother with this brand.

The shape and size were perfect for what I needed it for. It was so hard to punch through thin printer paper. Sad, I had to return it.

I love these punches and they are easily found and delivered quickly from Amazon. I tried the suggested: sharpen by punching through foil, when this got a bit dull from use, and it actually worked!

I got this punch to make leaves for my dollhouse wisteria vine. Punch is the perfect size for this and also the leaves are the right shape. But boy is this punch a challenge to use. I see there is a gadget to help with this problem, but the price for that and what my budget is, isn’t lining up. To use this punch with my hands is rather challenging and I found I need to be above it with the punch on the table to get leverage as it is very stiff to use with just my hands. This resulted in a lot of material waste, which is a bummer. Maybe I am a wimp?

Great punch! It is a very detailed leaf that punches out perfectly. I have not had any problems so far.

gave it two star as I have not been able to press it hard and get it to work it is so stiff. I can ues all my other punches no problem.
