This product is specific to the breed and fur texture of the pet and not the fur color. TropiClean does offer a Whitening shampoo on our main line as an alternative should this be a preference for you. We hope this information helps!

Good morning! As a groomer for 32 years I am all too familiar with your pups coat type. Perfect Fur does have a "combination coat shampoo". Or you could try Tropiclean 2in1 Papaya. It is a shampoo with conditioner. Your best friend regardless of the type of shampoo that you choose is going to be a comb. If you are not getting him groomed on a regular basis by a professional, combing him a couple of times a week should keep the matting away. I hope this helps! Sandra
