ACDelco GM Genuine Parts 20881337 Alternator

I took a chance with this as it was described as used, but like new condition and grateful that I did because it was an open box only . The alternator was new and no sign of install. Everything fit as described and working like it should.

Was skeptical having this come from Amazon but turned out better than the two others I tried to order from auto parts stores. AutoZone part came looking beat up and this one looks brand new. On the box it didn’t state if it was remanufactured or new but if it is remand they did a pretty good job making it look new. Zero issues after a quick install.

Actually made me feel like I had a brand new motor the way they improved appearance.

This is probably a good part but it does not fit a 2014 Chevy Silverado with a 4.3 l the electrical wiring doesn't even reach the plugs on the alternator and the alternator is completely different than the one that is on the truck now so I don't know why the website tells you it fits it does 😔 NOT fit

My battery went to a 15 on my display from a 13 on my 09 Tahoe.

The write up for this on amazon says:"100% newly manufactured as an exact replacement for your GM vehicle's original alternator" - When I bought is April 1, 2015 and as I write this review on April 3, 2015.The box indicates "re manufactured".Shame on Amazon!I do not like false statements or false advertising!The box does state AC Delco and the item is an exact match to the original one that was on my truck.I went ahead and installed it as I needed a new alternator.Installation took less that 15 minutes.Hopefully it last 4+ years and 201500 miles like the original did.2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD Crew Cab LT Vortec 5.3L V8

Bought this alternator as a replacement for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe due to some awkward voltage dipping that were occurring occasionally when the electrical cooling fans kicked on made sure before hand to check all my ground points and cables and my wiring installed this alternator and si far is working as designed the fit was perfect as OEM.

I’ve never installed an alternator before but I thought with a You Tube video I’d give it a try. I’ve had flickering lights and battery problems with the after market alternator that was installed in the truck. 2011 Chevy Silverado. Easy change out and it only took about a half hour. A 15mm long ratcheting wrench made it easy. Engine light that was on before is now off and battery is being charged.
