Q: Could this work for several hours a day (we want to make lots of bowls each day)? Thanks!

Her’s what I know: I used it for about 2-3 hours at a time and it didn’t overheat or start burning. The secret is to use only 2 of the 3 T. They recommend, otherwise you’ll be cleaning up an overflowing batter oozing out of the machine...Enjoy!

Q: Has anyone tried making a taco salad bowl with tortilla in this?

We tried a thinner tortilla- which got too crisp...although maybe we cooked it too long. And a thicker one, which came out more the way we wanted it to. We cut the surplus edges off and made chips. Just takes a little trial and error. We also tried some smaller naan bread in it that was yummy too.

Q: Is this product really as good as advertised?

I didn't like the design of the Dash mini bowl waffle maker. There is nothing to grip on to, when opening the waffle maker, but the hot side of the unit and burned fingers were inevitable.

Q: Can I use pancake mix to make a softer bowl like breakfast waffles ?

I would only use the batter they recommend, unless you want to use shredded veggie batter w/eggs to make veggie hash bowls.
