There aren't enough stars to truly rate "Easy to use"
Setup wasn't very difficult even though it requires Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Once setup, it is a breeze to use while all your weight data is being captured and forwarded to Garmin Connect. Once there you can even link in your doctor so they can review the data. The scale's price was inline with equivalent competitors so it was a no-brainer but the blood pressure monitor is a hefty premium over competitors. I took a chance that having BP data auto-captured would prove valuable and has been. Simply step on the scale, wait a moment, and step off and all your weight and BMI data is auto-synchronized to Garmin Connect to join all your workout data captured by your Garmin smartwatch or bike computer.

Great product
I really enjoy this scale. It is very sleek. Just kind of blends in with my floor because I have dark tile and the numbers are large enough that you can see him and it is extremely accurate. Would highly recommend. It was very easy to set up in fact it actually transfers everything to the app that I use for my Apple Watch, which makes it nice to have everything in one place. I purchased a bundle and the blood pressure monitor. I really like also seems to be very accurate. Very easy to use.

The worst smart weight scale made
I purchased the Garmin Index S2 Weight scale believing that like other Garmin products it would be a solid product and performer. Even though it was more than three times more expensive, I wanted it to provide the information to my Garmin App. To my surprise a solid performer it wasn't. It is difficult to setup, doesn't update well with the Garmin app and within a couple of weeks the weight scale programming and electronic broke down to where the screen just flashed white then black until it shut off. To Garmin's credit they replaced the unit and I started over again. This new unit works, but the screen doesn't stay on long enough and is so small you can't read it. The app displays the measured weight but is hard to find BMI, water, muscle bone and fat % but does not provide a BMR, really minimal information and display on the Garmin app. I have tried two different competitor smart weight scales that have wonderful apps that integrate with the scale flawlessly and provide a myriad of information, analysis and help. Both of the top rated weight scales were very easy to setup and their smart phone app were both very easy to use providing all of the measured information gathered from the scale including weight, BMI, bone, muscle, water, fat, lean body mass, subcutaneous fat and total fat. They both also provide your BMR. Your resting metabolic rate. Which is very important if you are trying to achieve your weight goals. They both provide trends and analysis. The Garmin app does not provide BMR nor any analysis. Garmin could really make this a bright differentiator but they haven't and even thought I have the S2, I purchased a new top rated smart weight scale, for a fraction of the Garmin S2 price and the new competitor smart scale works flawlessly

Game-Changer for Tracking Health and Fitness!
The Garmin Smart Scale is hands down one of the best fitness tools I’ve ever used! It goes way beyond just measuring weight — it tracks body fat, muscle mass, water percentage, and more, giving me a complete picture of my health. The accuracy is impressive, and it syncs seamlessly with the Garmin Connect app, making it easy to monitor progress over time.I love how it recognizes multiple users automatically, so everyone in the family can use it without hassle. The sleek design fits perfectly in my bathroom and feels sturdy and high-quality underfoot. It’s motivated me to stay on track with my fitness goals like never before. If you’re serious about understanding your body composition and tracking your health data in detail, this smart scale is a must-have. Seamless integration with Garmin Connect; body fat % is way off
I love how the scale integrates with Garmin Connect so I can track weight over time with minimal effort. Some reviews complained about getting the scale to turn on; mine turns on fine. I tap it once, wait for zeros to appear, and stand on it.My biggest complaint, and what made me give this scale 4 stars rather than 5, is the body fat tracking. It is so bad as to be worthless. I'm lean, with abs that are visible but not chiseled. I did a DEXA scan, which has me at 14.2% body fat, which is consistent with what I see in the mirror. The scale, however, shows me at 22.2% body fat. What's more, I've lost ten pounds this year, focusing on lifting heavy, doing cardio, eating at a caloric deficit, and getting enough protein, all for the purpose of prioritizing fat burning over muscle loss. Over this period, the scale shows that I've gone from 22.8% body fat to 22.2% body fat. My starting weight was 195 lbs, so according to the scale, I've gone from 44.46 lbs of fat (.228 x 195 = 44.6) to 43.29 lbs of fat (.222 x 195 = 43.29). In other words, according to the scale, out of 10 lbs lost, only 1.31 lbs was fat (44.46 - 43.29 = 1.31). I didn't do a starting DEXA scan, but this seems very wrong. The fat tracking is so bad that I could give the scale 2 or 3 stars, but I'm giving it 4 because the flaws are in the technology, rather than Garmin's implementation of it. None of these impedance trackers is accurate. My guess is that Garmin has to include one because everyone else has one. Just know that it is completely worthless. It will not give you a correct snapshot of your body fat at a given point in time, nor will it accurately track changes in fat composition over time.

Love it.
Easy to read, fast to take a reading, easy to set up and easy to share with others to use. A nice replacement from our Fitbit scale. I love the weather forecast.
