I am a gagger, and cannot stand masks. This is the best one by far. It loops around the neck and over the head, not around the ears. Provides a good fit, but not too tight to promote the gag reflex. Wore this while traveling and forced to wear a mask for an entire day in an airport and on airplanes. Straps are adjustable. Highly recommend.

Overall I really like this. It's comfortable, a good size, nice value with 3 masks, and the important part is the strap goes around the head instead of putting pressure on my ears (masks with the type of straps that go around ears are painful for me).The one problem is that the clips that tighten the straps started cracking after only a couple weeks of use, and have broken off all the masks after less than a month. You can sort of tie the straps but it's difficult, so -1 star there.

I'm still looking for the perfect mask. My current model has a filter pocket and adjusting ear loops with toggles so I can adjust the fit. It's almost perfect except for the ear loops, which I find uncomfortable. I can't get the mask tight enough on my face without pulling my ears forward. This product I hoped would change all that, because of the separate head and neck straps, but I found a number of flaws:1. It's flimsy. Doesn't seem to offer much protection, even with the pocket and filter.2. The pocket. It has an opening on one side only, meaning you have to push the filter into position. My current model has openings on both sides so I can push-pull the filter into position.3. It shrunk significantly after washing, so now it pulls up from my chin, creating a gap.4. The barrel 'toggles' that adjust the straps get caught in my hair, even with my hair tied back, making removal difficult.The lack of a nose wire is not an issue for me. I did find I can tighten the mask against my face enough to not fog my glasses! That was a plus.Maybe these masks work for some people, but not for me. Three stars for effort, but I'm still looking for the perfect mask.

I wonder if they modified the design of these - they're normal size for an adult and fit fine. If your mug is particularly large, then I suppose you might have an issue.The point was to get masks for my son that didn't fall off when he put on a particular sports helmet and these did the trick.

I bought this because most around-the-ear loop masks can get tangled with my hearing aids and glasses. I also wanted the extra filtration that this mask offers as an option, and bought a supply of standard size PM2.5 filters at the same time.It did help some with the hearing aid issue. But that did not nearly make up for two big problems:1) The two strings are not elastic, and the slide thingamajigs that adjust the length are so cumbersome to use that I started trying to take the mask off without loosening the strings (which then pulled off my hearing aids and glasses!).2) The filter pocket is very narrow on the side, where it opens to insert the mask, so you have fold or roll it lengthwise to insert it, and the filter quickly gets stuck in the stretchy fabric. The pocket opens on only one side, so you can't reach your fingers in the opposite side to unfold the filter and pull it into place. (A diagram on the box of filters I bought showed a mask with two pockets.) Changing the filter took me 5 minutes even after doing it several times -- it was like trying to push through a hooded sweatshirt or jacket pull string that has disappeared inside the opening.I threw the masks out after about a week.

If you have hearing aids as I do, these work perfect. No more hurting behind the ears. My only dislike is that I have to wear a ponytail because otherwise the top piece slips down not a big deal but, one’s hair can get messy.

MasksI just got these masks. They are quite comfortable. They have a nose tent, an adjustable head strap which works better to fit properly and an adjustable neck stray which also helps w fit and allows it to hang when you aren't wearing it. I have a small case so fit is usually an issue but not w this one.
