The good:The fountain is exactly as you see in the picture. It’s a large hunk of green plastic, with a tiny display of plastic leaves. It operates quietly, and holds up to 4 cups (32oz) of water.The bad:The fountain is inconsistently operable. Some days it works better than others, even when completely full.There is no window or fill indicator to know if you have filled the basin enough. Overfilling the basin results in overflowing out the sides, making a mess in your terrarium.Under filling the basin will eventually lead to pump failure. The pump is a cheap design, and does not have an auto shut-off feature when the water level is low.At the base of the “waterfall,” there is a large hole where the water falls into the basin. It is far larger than it really needs to be, based on the flow of the water, and ends up being a little trap for substrate and your animal. My leopard gecko, for example, couldn’t reach the stream of water without falling into the hole at the base. I designed a stand to solve this problem, but wish it was considered in the design to begin with.Overall, it’s not a great quality product. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

The thing worked alright but after a few days of Austin tap water (high in calcium) it started to make a horrible noise. I think if I kept it clean and used distilled water it might be better so I can’t blame the product. With that said using distilled water is too expensive for me and my chameleon is the healthiest one I’ve seen using my tap water so I’m just gonna keep using that with my hand pump sprayer - gtx-

I just used hot glue to seal up the bottom due to it leaking but it really only holds 2 bottles of water and crickets can still get under the filter even with the plastic covering under the opening.

My Chameleon absolutely loves it!!! I used a thick fake vine and had it sitting to where it can get close up to the water. Because I feared it wouldn’t be able to hold onto the fake plants coming out of the water. So he sits at the water a lot and gets water. To definitely fill it up before turning I it on I was so confused when water wouldn’t come out when I poured some in. So I poured a lot of water into it to where you could start to see the water on the foam and plugged it in. Water came out instantly it’s quiet until you need to add more water. It’s extremely easy to use and the sound lets you know when to refill it so you don’t have to open it and inspect.

PERFECT for our Chameleon! We were having a hard time keeping him hydrated and with him having a constant waterfall running, he can hydrate whenever he needs without waiting on us to mist him. Also makes me feel really good when we go out of town.

The media could not be loaded.  The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because when I received the product, the box seemed to have already been opened, and there are no instructions. Thankfully, its pretty much common sense on how to work it. Make sure that the cord is in the cord slot on the inside where the water goes, or it will NOT work. All in all, I like the product, and I feel it made my chameleons enclosure more like home for her. It is a decent product the amount you pay.

Our one year old chameleon immediately took to this drinking fountain. I was a little worried he’d be afraid of it as we have just been feeding it water through a spray bottle but he absolutely LOVES his fountain! I haven’t had to add more plants as other viewers said or even add water every 5 days. I use bottled water and so far there’s been no build up and no mold. I will put in dishwasher as another viewer suggested. I didn’t review suction power bc I don’t use it, I’ve just placed it in the bottom corner of its enclosure.

Breaded dragon he loves it but it only was working for a week and stop working was really upset
