Freeing. I have been getting a better sleep and morning routine since buying this. I set it to open an hour or so after waking up (which means my morning energy is not wasted on BS/notifications etc) and use an old-school alarm clock instead, so the first thing I am looking at in the morning is NOT my phone. You can also put your phone in the box two hours before sleep if you want to increase your reading time/quality time with partner etc instead of getting sucked into the mind-numbing scroll-patrol. The holes in it are big enough to do emergency things e.g. calling / banking app etc, but too annoying to use for anything non-essential. It's perfect because you don't feel worried about leaving it in there for too long as you know you can use it if it's something really important or if there is a forgotten alarm it's not a big deal (as opposed to the ones without any access at all once locked).

Does exactly what it should, a great way to lock your phone away, avoiding the temptation to use it. Works well and simple to use. However, it is very fragile, I can’t see the lock mechanism lasting very long, the clear case is very brittle as is the lock. And obviously, if you wanted, a quick pull would break the case.

Love this item it is amazing how much you can get done when you can’t look at your phone . I find turning it over better do I can’t see it light up

Realised that my doomscrolling was getting out of hand (damn you TikTok!) and meant not getting to bed early enough. So having had heard others talk of phone safes as useful even for adults, got one. This is one of the best sellers here. The good points: it does work and lock you out effectively. It’s easy to operate and use. Easily fits my Pro Max phone and it has a charging opening for a cable The not so good points: it looks & feels very cheap and plasticky given its cost as well as its relative lack of sophistication. That said it did help me. I can see that parents could utilise it very effectively on school nights but the cost of this one may be prohibitive if more than one child/teen needs one. Maybe a good idea for exam times.

Absolutely incredible, I've been using this for a week. Started reading books again, which hasn't happened in long time. Movies and tv shows actually being properly consumed. The previous version of myself would just look at the phone, and get drawn into the blackhole look at the watch and realize "2 hours have just passed, damn" Not anymore. This lock box is a form of "removing opportunity" You could put the phone in the other room or the average Joe would say "why don't you just turn it off?", "Don't look at it?" Not so simple for phone addicts like myself, I'm sure fellow phone addicts would agree. I don't think I have ever written a review, I wanted chime in on another review I read which alot of people found helpful? And I found that annoying, so here I am. One person, and probably more put forth that lock box is Pointless as you can still access the phone through the screen, this may be true but how would be able to text back through it? How would be able to properly read the news articles, anyway.. a good way to sort this is by removing thumb print and facial recognition on your phone, just use pin code...that removes the ability to unlock it while in the lock box. Secondly, TURN OFF YOUR WIFI AND DATA, or put on airplane mode. no silly notifications, only sms and calls....as calls could be important. Those holes were probably designed to enable answering calls, however not all phones can be answered the same way...but all phones have Bluetooth access, if you have a Bluetooth headphone or ear buds etc you can answer the phone that way! One thing I would say, people who use their phone with work, I found it tricky to use with Multi factor authentication (MFA), on my phone anyway, since some texts don't show up. I'll probably purchase a brick phone for work purposes in that case, simple fix. There is an override feature, but I don't want to know how that works personally. I have heard rumours the box locking up for a month if override feature is over used, which I think is excellent...would you really dare use the override feature for something non-urgent? Probably not. 10/10

Increíble! Lo mejor de este producto es que hasta que no acabe el temporizador no hay forma de utilizar el teléfono ( solo puedes coger llamadas ), ni trampas para poder sacarlo. Para quien tenga un problema de adicción a redes sociales y quiera darse un respiro y desconectar, lo recomiendo. En mi caso me está ayudando mucho a la hora de no utilizar el móvil antes de dormir, le pongo un 10!

I was going to sleep at 2-3am everyday because of social media. I now lock my phone after I finish work and set the lock for just one hour after I start work so social media is not the first thing I see when I open my eyes. I noticed how much time I’m loosing on the phone while I could be reading or enjoying life. Don’t think twice!
