Best ice cream scoop and exactly what I was hoping for. I had used the scoop at my nonnas house for many years and I couldn't figure out where to find one. It cuts through ice cream so smoothly without needed to melt it a bit first. Definitely happy.

Just enough longer than expected and doesn't fit in the drawer like my old one did that accidentally got washed in the dishwasher. Don't do that, it doesn't end well. It's easy to use and will last for a long time as long as you don't run it through the dishwasher

I had one of these Zeroll Ice Cream Spades through the 80's and 90's along with their 3" scoop. The spade somehow lost it's de-icer capability so it wound up in the recycle bin. I still have the 3" scoop which is great for making ice cream cones...it is about 25 years old...and decided that I would like to have another spade. Found it at Amazon and have used it many times since it arrived. Ice cream will not stick to the aluminum surface and the spade makes it quick and easy to get LOTS of ice cream into a bowl or other container.Follow the care instructions that come with the spade! Do not put any of the Zeroll ice cream scoops or spades in the dish washer as the heat will destroy the chemicals in the handle that allow for the ice cream to slide right off. Just hand wash and dry and it will last for years.
