This is the one you want, trust me.
After watching my last Chinese fluorescent work light bite the dust and finding no replacement bulb I needed a new light for my Milling machine. Now I was actually using two lights one of which was a magnetic halogen from a very high end light company called sunnex. Great light but the magnet like most magnetic lights is alway problematic. The other was screwed into the mill, was a Grizzly which is now a ghost product.Long story short I canned the Sunnex and attached the bracket into one of the two screw holes from the Grizzly mount. It held fine with no issues and the light is attached to the bracket.1. The gooseneck is great for a Drill press or other medium sized need2. The gooseneck is solid3. The light is bright enough as a single source4. If I am correct you can find replacement bulbs5. Uses 120V direct no need to add a dc converter or expect anything but the bulb to failSo this replaced both lights on my mill and is brighter than both combined. The only negative is the base is light weight plastic, which I normally don't see on shop lights. Not a problem really if the light does not get smashed. Maybe using this as an anvil light is not the best option. This light is awesome if you can mount it with screws on your machine.

Excellent focused light with convenient switch on lamp head
PROSExcellent focused lighting. Convenient switch on lamp head. Lamp head rotates which allows you to position the switch where it is most convenient. The gooseneck is stiff, a plus in my book. My recommendation is to hold the gooseneck at the base with one hand while you position the light with the other hand. The lamp stays in place and the light does not flicker.CONSThe base is plastic. The goose neck is held in place with a 3/8” lamp pipe sandwiched between toothed washers and lamp nuts. Not a lot of load distributing surface. Hence the recommendation to hold the gooseneck at the base when positioning the lamp. The mounting holes in the base are a tiny bit off of square. The base can only mount in E-W. This affects the notch in the bottom of the base where the cord exits the lamp. A workaround is to make a notch in the base 90 degrees from the first notch.OVERALLThis appears to be a decent work light for bench tools. The cons are relatively minor and can be worked around. I appreciate being able to see what I’m working on.

Good price,Light is bright, requires some additional work before mounting
The brightness is great, the mounting plate required tapping before the included socket head screws could be threaded into the plate.... I wasn't expecting to need to tap the holes so this wasted my time till I realized the holes were not tapped. The Lamp head is much larger than what I was expecting...I should have paid closer attention...pictures without size references are always misleading. All in all, at the price...it is a good lamp. I may make my own weighted base so that I can use it as a surface placed lamp on my workbench.

Perfect Fit for Jet JWBS-14SFX
I bought this light as a cheaper alternative to the 714403 light for my bandsaw, it does appear that the cord is slightly lighter duty than the 714403 light kit and it does not include a ground pin. However the overall build quality seems quite robust and it directly mounted to my bandsaw using the included screws. I have seen a couple of people complain about the mounting plate and while I did not use it, I did check to see if it would have fit the light the holes were tapped and it would have worked perfectly. I almost think this is made by the manufacturer of the Jet light, cheapened up a little and unlabeled. I would buy this light again, but so far I will not need to.

Very bright - Almost too bright
I'm using this with my wood lathe, and it is extremely bright. Almost too bright. I'm not sure if it is the LED flicker rate or whatever, but it kind of hurts my eyes when the light is too close to the project, so I usually back it farther away. So far, it seems like a nice sturdy light. I have another version that isn't quite bright enough. I like this one better.

It has a loooong neck -- and that ain't bad
I don't know how well the goose neck will last but I really appreciate its length on a full size Bridgeport mill.Having the on/off switch on the lighting head is handy because sometimes it's necessary to turn the light off to avoid glare when setting up. The brightness is more than adequate -- and appreciated when using a micrometer. The light might be a bit much for a tool grinder or combination machine, but its a real contribution to a full size (10" and up) lathe, surface grinder, die filer, or knee mill.

Junk
The screws are too big for the holes drilled in the mounting bracket that comes with the light. Its not very flexible, very stiff. Also doesn't bend into too many positions. Very thick arm. The protective plastic on the arm came out of the mounting bracket first time i tried to move it. The bracket isn't tapped and it has paint inside the holes so be prepared to put some extra work into it.*Update*Doesn't stay in place after 3 uses. Sending this back. Complete junk thats expensive.

Fits the factory light holes on my Jet bandsaw
Got this as a light for my Jet bandsaw. Jet wanted twice as much for what appeared to be the same light. Though I was give this a chance. So far so good. Screwed right into the factory holes. The flex shaft is long enough I can get the light where I want it. Two minor things kept me from giving it 5 starts. First, the plastic flex cover does not get well. Not a big deal at all, just makes it feel a little cheap. Second, the light is a very blue/white light. I prefer a lower color temp white. Again, not a big deal. High color temp blue/while lights are just a pet peeve of mine.
