These Loppers arrived quicker than expected. They seem to be sturdy and well made. I have tried them out and they cut well. I think they may slip out of the extension if you don’t remember to ensure you have twisted the handles properly.

Was a little unsure about these due to the cheap price but honestly they have cut my hedge perfectly, I've had no problems with the handles and extensions is great..very Sharpe and definitely does what it says, would recommend.

I’ve been looking for a decent pair of loppers for a long time, but can’t justify the price of some of the better ones you find in Garden Centres (£40+) for what I need them for…. I need something for lopping branches and dead flowers from our palm trees, and the odd branch in our hedge. That’s about it - so they’re not going to get a lot of use.These seem really strong and no less sharp than an expensive pair I recently used. They are lightweight and for my use, exactly what I need. Also easy to extend them, and a fairly decent reach - I think anything longer you’re pushing it anyway, so it’s fair.HOWEVER, they are ‘twist-to-lock’ handles, meaning you have to twist, extend, then twist again. When trying to reach some higher branches, I’ve accidentally un-twisted and they’ve shortened themselves. For MY USE, this is fine and I can get away with it, but with much more usage I can see how this would be really annoying. Overall, I’d still recommend for the price!PHOTO: Courier advised me that they could have been packaged better, as you can see… they came with a flimsy plastic cover which had been ripped through, and courier wasn’t too happy with it. But hey…
