Awesome! Love this guy!
This is my first McFarlane figure and it's awesome! The paint on his hair is a bit off but that's fine, I buy things to enjoy and not so much for perfection. I love that he came with a few weapons, interchangeable heads, a stub arm and you can even take his vest off! It's so cool, and very accurate to how he's drawn in the comics! He's one of my favorite characters so I knew I was gonna be happy with it 😊😊

The Governor
This is the second series of The Walking Dead comic series action figures. McFarlane has vastly improved upon their The Walking Dead Comic series 1 action figures. This action figure of the Governor (Phillip Blake) is leaps and bounds better than any of the figures from the comic series 1 figures put out previously. This figure looks to have the same articulation as the comic series 1 figures ( I can't be certain for sure as I leave all my figures blistered to their card), but this looks much more like the source material. A big complaint about the first series was that none of the figures looked like their respective source from the comic book. Rick Grimes did not look like Rick in any of the comics, nor did Michonne. But this figure looks exactly like the Governor. The card that this figure is blistered to is black and white with a bit of red coloring, much more in line with the comic. The card is vertically taller unlike series 1 which were all horizontally longer. The Governor comes with an interchangeable head, one with a missing ear and eye patch (Michonne's gift to him for what he did to her) and one head that looks normal. He comes with Michonne's sword (which he uses on poor Tyrese), a butcher knife (which he uses on poor Rick) a removable right arm that can be replaced with a stub (another gift to the Governor from Michonne) and a pistol that can be holstered. McFarlane is one of the best action figure manufacturers out there and they clearly listened to the complaints that collectors and non-collectors voiced about series 1 which is why I think it took so long for series 2 to come out. With all of the great figures for series 2, I am very excited to see what is in store for series 3, I am hoping for a long haired, one armed Rick and a Tyrese and Andrea figures.Any fan of the comic who was disappointed with series 1 should be really happy with series 2. Highly Recommended.

Both "Comic" and TV Governors
At first I only saw the Governor portrayed in the TV show, and I knew he was cool. Although he's quite the antagonist I just had to have him. I'm not a collector but I'm a fan, and having bought the TV version of him, which was great although the interchangeable head was difficult. I still liked him, but I didn't think much until I read his intro in the comics and I have to say, he is definitely more well represented as a man with nothing to lose, in a dead world. This comic figure is better in my opinion because it well represents the Governor that truly was the first and Bad@$$ of the series. He's exactly like in the comics before and after the events that left him with a stub for an arm and one eyed. His articulation is flexible and much easier than the TV figures for sure. He appears cartoonish but when in person or in your hands its a really well made figure, his interchangeable head and arm are easy, other wise use a hairdryer to soften the ball points to change easier. In addition he may feel really loose in the hands and mid arm joints but it holds well. His accessories the eye-patch head, gun, butcher knife, and Michone's sword are cool and well detailed! It's a must buy if you like the Governor or just want the good figure's in your collection to fight against, in any case this action figure makes me happy and I'm sure it'll satisfy and Walking Dead fan.

Comic Governor
This is of the comic governor, but it is very high quality. McFarlen toys is a model company that works very closely with the comic creators. Very nice product.

Awesome collectible for big TWD fans
This figure of the Governor is one of my favorites from the assortment of Walking Dead figures released by McFarlane Toys. The detail given to him is awesome, and I like that you can swap his arm/head depending on how you want him to appear while standing on your shelf. My only complaint, which is a shared complaint I have with most other Walking Dead figures, is that there is no base for him to stand on, and sometimes it can be challenging getting him to stand on his own. Penny is the only figure I've gotten that has come with a base, and I wish they all did. Regardless, this is an awesome figure.
