Easy to apply, GREAT results
We installed a new marble counter / vanity in our renovated bathroom and the marble supply house recommended the Stonetech Bulletproof sealer. We have used other Stonetech products: Revitalizer and Stone and Tile Cleaner, and they have proven to be superior in their results. The Cleaner is fabulous. which we use on our porcelain tile and granite kitchen counters. All Stonetech products are on Amazon. Stonetech notes their products have the correct P/H balance without harsh chemicals like in some supermarket stone clearers, and I trust Dupont in this respect. After 4 years using Revitalizer and Stone Cleaner on our granite it looks like the day we installed it - bright shiny finish and resistive to anything we might 'throw' or drop on it. The Bulletproof Sealer went on without any issues and the results were fabulous. I had never done this before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The 'Sealer' penetrates and seals the marble to resist spotting and discoloration, so you have to give it time to penetrate during each application. When you apply the sealer, some areas absorb more and other don't, and remain wet, which is why they tell you towel dry it after each appellation. The process requires a few applications, and Stonetech has clear and concise instructions online. Our counter was 8' X 2' with a backsplash, not very big, so rather than use a paint roller or paint brush (as recommended), I bought (at Home Depot) a square applicator made for edging paint, which includes some helpful rollers, so you can edge right up to wall without smearing the sealer on your painted walls. The pad on the applicator worked perfectly and after 3 applications I followed the instructions and waited just a few minutes for the sealer to dry on the last application and quickly buffed/toweled the sealer to a nice clear shine. If you don't follow this last step, you will be left with a dull streaky finish. For any area that did not buff out completely clear, apply a bit more sealer and buff again. The results were fantastic, and the marble has a nice shine with all of it's natural characteristics of unique veins and coloring. The one issue they mention is that you must let the sealer completely dry before using the area....they recommend 6-12+ hours....I did this on a Sunday afternoon, watched a football game during the applications and by Monday morning it was ready to use. Total application time 3 NFL football quarters, or about 2 hours in non football time.

BUFF HARD, EVEN FOR 3 DAYS= SHINIER.PREP WITH ACETONE FIRST.USE THEIR CLEANER OR WATER
WORKS + LOOKS GREAT AFTER 3 YEARS, BUT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! TIPS: (1)USE ACETONE TO PREP TO REMOVE ANY GREASE, ETC. DRY 45 min.(2) Follow directions EXACTLY, use a lot. KEEP BUFFING HARD! THE MORE YOU BUFF OVER THE FIRST 3 DAYS, THE SHINIER IT GETS. Yes, 3 Days!(3)USE only Bulltproof's REJUEVENATOR Cleaner.Other cleaners can strip the shine(4) Wipe up water + spills immediately. Mine are 3 years old. I have only wiped clean with a little water, very rarely used the spray. They look good as new! A stone company recommended this. SO HAPPY!

Great product
Really great product, and very easy to apply. I used a small foam roller which worked great for this. Just a word of forworning, I had previously bought one bottle, and based upon the directions of the first bottle, I thought I would need another bottle to completely seal our new granite countertops. Particularly when the directions said to keep the surface wet for 15 minutes. As it turns out I didn't even use half of the first bottle so keep that in mind when ordering. The directions also said to use in a well-ventilated area, but no one in our family noticed any particular strong smell so take that for what it's worth. I did have this sitting out as our countertops and backsplash were being installed, and the installer said that this is what he uses at his house, so that also verified that this is a good product.

Effective and easy to apply
This is good stuff for white granite countertops, which are very porous because of the character of the stone. The secret to putting it on, in addition to adequate preparation, is to put it on fairly heavily--and keep stroking it so that no areas dry out. They dry out either because not enough was put on initially or it has soaked into the stone (which is the whole idea)--or because something else already has soaked into that spot. I use a wide polybrush, and a clean cottage cheese carton as brush holder and reservoir for the sealer. Watch the clock--it does need 10-15 minutes. My countertops had been sealed with a different (less effective and less pricey) DuPont product 18 months ago and I needed only one coat of this stuff, which I hope will last the claimed 3-5 years. I did put on a second coat, but it didn't appear to sink in so I suspect wasn't essential. This dries quickly and was ready to use, lightly, in 6 hours (70+ degree house with AC on). I let it cure 24 before going back to "normal" use. This might take longer in cooler or more humid conditions. One note: Nowhere does this product claim to stop water from darkening the granite if the water sits on it. No sealer will do that. But plain water will evaporate without causing a stain. What this sealer does do is prevent staining liquids from getting into the pores of the stone and taking up residence forever. Using cleaners other a granite cleaner or very mild soap and water will reduce the effectiveness of any sealer sooner. I found some great information on all this on the website of the Natural Stone Institute.

Works well. Not very strong odor. Dries quickly when first applied, so I would not apply it in direct sunlight, since it has to be kept wet for 15 minutes when first applying. The size is more than needed for a small granite section, but will last for a long time.

Follow the instructions to use it correctly.

I used this product to seal a 40 year old terrazzo table. It will need a further coat in the spring to ensure the table is properly sealed.
