TUSA FK-940 X-Ppert II Titanium Dive Knife

I live on the water in Clearwater FL and do most of my boating and water activities here. I bought two grey ones (one for me and one for my son) as this is an AWESOME knife (we both love it): perfect for diving and snorkeling. The strap is secure and very comfortable (almost forget it is on) and the button-locking feature with secondary mini-catch is fantastic so that the knife is readily usable but will not fall or get lose. The titanium blade is light, strong and SHARP! The blade and handle size is PERFECT. Balance is excellent. I keep it out of my dive bag when not diving because I like having it around the house and looking at it occasionally while being impressed with the build and finish quality. We just returned from a week in the FL keys and Dry Tortugas, and these knives kept us safe and secure and worked great. Didn't rinse them off with fresh water and of course, not a hint of any rust -- just look like new no matter what. I have looked (physically) at knives while at Divers Direct mega store (Key Largo) and there were no knife that compares to these from any manufacturer.

The red color is fantastic and pretty much the reason I bought this over the atomic knife. The knife is decently sharp and seems to hold an edge well. My only complaints are that the leg straps could be longer for placement on the thigh. Also the way the knife removes from the holster leaves scratch like marks on the blade. Not a big deal as it'll get marked up with use anyways. Fantastic knife and totally recommend!

First of all, I normally buy expensive dive gear and this was a bargain. I have several dive knives and this one is hands down the best. Titanium material is corrosion resistant and light. Size and shape are perfect. And it is not expensive for a titanium dive knife. I would buy this knife again if it cost twice as much.

The benefit of a titanium dive knife is it won't corrode as easily, making maintenance much easier in a salt water environment. It's gonna do that just fine. The feel is... not as good as I expected. The plastic material the sheath is made of feels kind of dinky and the whole package is very lightweight (another "advantage" of the titanium depending on your POV). The sheath is reversible and the locking mechanism seems secure. The straps are ok. It was NOT as sharp as I was hoping. It was able to cut paper to some degree, but out of the box I expected better. That's no trouble though. Titanium is as strong as steel but actually softer than steel, and it can be sharpened quite easily. The point is quite sharp and strong - suitable for braining a scaly-bugger when needed. Overall, I AM satisfied and think it will last multiple seasons and not get lost on the first few dives which is what I was hoping for.

This is one of the best titanium dive knives made. The product is made it Taiwan but a lot of nice quality products are made in Taiwan like Gearwrench wrenches. I think everything including the straps look better quality than other knives that's cost $140+. To address the negative comments I'm not sure why you would need to disassemble the knife and who cares if the instructions are for a different knife. This is an extremely high quality piece! I own 2 of them one for me and one for my girlfriend and we both love them. Buy it now and don't look for anything higher priced.

This is a serious adults knife. Not cheap crap. You get what you pay for. The push button locking mechanism is flawless, blade is like a razor. Don't even touch it bc it'll slice you open. The straps probably aren't long enough for a man's thigh but i wear mine on my arm or lower leg. Professional grade. It'll last long after I lose it.

I used this knife extensively during my last week-long dive trip and it performed well. The knife looks great, handles very well, was sharp out of the box, and took additional sharpening well. The straps weren't the most comfortable that I've ever used, but they function fine.

Best titanium I have ever owned for the best value. Not too small and not too big, just right. Comes extremely sharp and high quality product well balanced in my hand. I like the rope cutter being on top of the blade rather than at the start of the sharp edge. The knife goes all the way through the handle and is about 3/16” thick. Slides in and out of the sheath with ease at the same time wouldn’t snap loose. Titanium will never rust in the years of saltwater use.
