Waiter's Corkscrew 3-in-1 Wine Opener

This wine opener makes me feel classier than that cheap looking, ugly wineopener that everybody in the world owns. It feels sturdy, and makes the bottle very easy to leverage open.The only problem is that my girlfriend can't figure out how to use it even though I show her every time we drink wine. To be fair it probably doesn't help that we drink wine right after I show her. Anyway, if you can't easily open a bottle of wine using this opener, you're doing it wrong. Get on YT and watch a how-to video or something and save yourself the embarassment next time you have a party and have to ask for help.

The item arrived in the package as shown. It looks good and would be perfect for a gift or even personal use. The wine opener is easy to use. The wooden handle is also nice and smooth. This corkscrew is made of stainless steel and overall is of good quality material and it looks like it's going to last for a long time. It folds easily into a compact size, so you can store it into a kitchen drawer without taking too much space. I highly recommend this product!

The corkscrew came in a nice magnetic lid presentation box. The wood handles are a nice touch. The fulcrum is solid (beefy) and has two lifters that are handy. The corkscrew itself is grooved and I didn't have any problems opening bottles with real cork and synthetic cork. This waiter's corkscrew should give me many years of good service and was worth the price. I collect waiter's corkscrews and this puts it on top for bang for your buck.

The hing pin locations are not proper. I was hoping for a more durable version of the often-copied Pulltap's, but this is totally different. The screw does not travel straight into the cork either. Disappointed.

A great find! Once you've held the Xilux waiters corkscrew, you can tell that it's a quality product. It looks nice with the rosewood handle and stainless steel finish. The foil cutter is sharp and the coil is made of thick steel that's long enough to extract any stubborn cork. And with it's weight and size, it's easy to store in the drawer or keep in your pocket.

The waiters corkscrew by Xilux is an excellent tool to open your wine bottle. It doesn't feel rough or sharp in your hand, but rather smooth. It's simple to use once you master the technique. I'll never go back to using those winged corkscrews that are too bulky and heavy.
