2009 Hess Race Car and Racer

My grandson wanted this after seeing it at his cousins’s house. 2009 is the first year I started buying Hess trucks. I buy every year for my now 7 grandsons.I was so happy to find this one after so many years. Brand new, in the box. Even the packaged batteries were good. My grandson is extremely happy! You just cannot beat the quality of Hess trucks. The lights and sounds are incredible!

I ordered this product for my grandson. It came in time for Christmas and the condition was pristine! I mean it was BRAND NEW! After weeks of going to every Hess gas station in the area, online to the Hess company and calling the Hess company, I found it right here on Amazon.com. Brand new, in the box, and ready for use. Needless to say he loved it!. I would highly recommend this product and service. The old saying is true, ' you get what you pay for". Next year, I will be sure to get them when they come out in November when I can afford to get more. I really needed to purchase five cars, but once they are gone, you have to pay a little bit more. So I purchased just one (at double the price) but it was well worth it! I would highly recommend this product and this service. Now If I could just find that red dress I saw a year ago at Lord and Taylor and the clark shoes in brown, my world would be right! Thanks Amazon!

Glad to see the site available to fill in past cars. Missed this in 2009 as there was a mixup in who was going to buy it. Fixed that situation but they were sold out at the stations when I went in after the holiday. Thanks.

My F-in-L gave my son (3 yr old) the Helicopter from 2012/2013 at Christmas. I was so impressed by the quality and had never seen this type of promotional toy before. I looked into them and found there was one for each year. I am sending them as gifts now and have collected about 8 of the toys. Incredible lights/sounds, nothing like a cheaply built toy you might expect, seriously good value and well built. 3 or 33, you will be impressed and want more of them.

The 2013 Hess was small so I was looking for an older one for my 8-yr-old that wasn't a "collectable" that would cost a fortune. This one is great. He watches Top Gear UK and plays Need For Speed so he should be very happy with it. I did get him the Hess helicopter last year and he loved it.Delivery was quick and the packaging was great. The box even came in a "Hess toy" bag inside the shipping container.
