Chocolate vs. Vanilla - a clear winner
UPDATE 8/8/2020: Thorne is discontinuing Medipro Vegan, and is replacing it with VeganPro Complex. In so doing, they raised the price per serving by 26%. I've been using Medipro Vegan for three years, but I'll be shopping around now.-------------My practitioner "prescribed" this for me to address several health issues, and I am pleased with the results, including losing weight.I started with the chocolate version and liked it. First batch I made included fresh picked blueberries, but this was *not* a good taste for me. I use almond milk for the mixture, but have used filtered water in a pinch. A few weeks ago, I came back to reorder this, but the chocolate version was twenty bucks more expensive than normal. So I ordered the vanilla. When it arrived, I tried the vanilla straight up and thought it was awful. So, now I am making my shakes with half chocolate and half vanilla. (Fortunately, I still had 2/3 of a container of chocolate, so this will hold me until the next container of chocolate arrives.)Check out the manufacturer's website for more information.

Thorne Research: Comparison of All-in-One Shake with VegaLite
While this appears similar to The Virgin Diet All-in-One Shake, there is actually a Thorne research product better than both. I purchased and compared all three products (Virgin Diet All-In-One-Shake, Thorne Research All-In-One Shake, and Thorne Research VegaLite).Comparisons:#1 You get the same amount of protein in ONE level scoop of VegaLite (21g) as you do in TWO scoops of All-In-One (22g)#2 More carbs! The All-In-One has more carbs (14g) compared to the VegaLite (5g)#3 More fiber! The All-In-One has more fiber (6g) compared to the VegaLite (0g)#4 Less sodium! The All-In-One has less sodium (350mg) compared to VegaLite (420mg)#5 Taste: both products taste the same. Pea powder with a chocolate flavoring is my best description. You'll get used to it.The All-In-One is good if you are looking for fiber and less sodium. The VegaLite is good if you want to save money, you'll need HALF the amount that you need to use with All-In-One. Therefore, you'll need to reorder All-In-One twice as often. If you do not have Amazon Prime then you are also paying shipping costs, an added expense. My recommendation is the Thorne Research VegaLite Chocolate flavor. When I drink the VegaLite (my preference over the All-In-One-Shake) I use two scoops VegaLite, 2 Tbsp. PB2 Powdered Chocolate Peanut Butter 2 and flaxseed for fiber. My result is that I get 47g protein and 10g carbs in each drink. I'm following the JJ Virgin elimination diet (no gluten, dairy, soy, etc) along with high protein, low carb eating. I mix this together using the Blender Bottle, for a meal replacement.

UPDATED REVIEW: Same as Virgin Diet shake and Sara Gottfried MD Hormone Balancing shake
I love all three of these shakes (they are just barely different by a few milligrams of one ingredient each!), so I just buy whichever one is cheaper at the time. Since I can get Thorne sent free by Amazon Prime, I usually buy this one. I like chocolate, so I always get that flavor. Mixed with fruit, ice, coconut milk, flax and this mix, mixed up in my Vitamix mixer....it is like a delicious smoothie treat. The Vitamix (highly, highly recommended) is essential for making the version I drink the most...banana, flax, ice, coconut milk, kale, cilantro, and this mix. It comes out so creamy and smooth, just delicious to drink, and it keeps me full for about 4 hours.**UPDATE: Since I bought this in April the price of the Thorne Shake has increased $8...what's up with that? Possibly big complaints from JJ Virgin and Sara Gottfried that they were being undercut $9-10 by the manufacturer of their shakes? I'm sorry for us consumers to see this "price fixing".

Flavor is spot on
The chocolate flavor is actually good. Probably on par with the best protein shake I've ever had. I've only had one other meal replacement shake which was Orgain. They have more calories per serving but Throne's flavor is way better. I only switched because the seller for Orgain ran out of the chocolate flavor. I work 12 hour shifts and this makes for a quick breakfast when having to wake up at 4am.

Unexpected
The chocolate one I think contributed to headaches so I stopped taking it but a YEAR later and I am still reaping the effects of what these shakes did for my digestion. I never had a regular BM daily - it was always random. Since I started drinking these last year I wake up every morning and have a BM. It kicked my digestion into a schedule and I am thankful for that!

Dairy Free and Drinkable.
Higher priced than most. produces a nice thick shake. My sisters and I use it as the base for our green goo. -you add your favorites like extra fiber or collagen then throw on some spinach or kale. I had only tried vanilla before . Chocolate is slightly different, helps hide the taste of kale better. Protein is pea based, non-dairy.

I do not like the new packaging as the bottle is taller and skinner and will no longer fit into my cabinet, but still love the product.

The. Best. Protein. Powder. Yet.
Absolutely love this shake mix. Uses a plant based protein blend that soothes your gut, and has tons of additional micronutrients included some methylated B's, lots of vitamins and minerals, prebiotics, probiotics and digestive enzymes. Tastes awesome too!
