You can the difference between these and others by the feel when using.
I have used another set before that was pretty inexpensive but when I switched to gas and started using my wok more I stepped up my game. I bought this set and the first thing I noticed was how smooth the action was in the wok. The cheaper set's edges were not rounded just cut which causes friction during use. You can feel it catch the wok. This set the edges are rounded and probably buffed to give it the free flowing action that you can feel as you are working the wok. High quality and completely satisfied. Now I can make fried rice the correct way effortlessly.

I only used it once but its working like you think it should work. I only have a 10 inch wok with flat bottom.
