A little big for the holes on back of my RAM 1500 hitch, but drill I drilled out on truck and works great.

These are properly RATED shackles intended for professional use in vehicle recovery situations. This is the sort of thing that travellers use in the Australian Outback. The only thing that is important to remember is that they should not be tightened up solidly when in use; put the bar into the shackle and turn it until the bar is fully home, then back it out half a turn to avoid it seizing up. Very good piece of equipment. Check YouTube for how they are best used.

these look like great shackles, heavy and seems like the powder coat will be durable. came with the washers and isolators which is nice. looking forward to giving these a try. I recommend buying these and I will be buying other Nilight products.
