For Apple iPad Air 2/2nd Generation A1566 A1567 Smart Case with Automatic Magnetic Wake/Sleep (BLACK)

After smashing my last ipad by inadvertently dropping it on its head, I decided to invest in a good cover to protect my latest one. This cover is very sturdy indeed and easy to put together. A little on the heavy side, but get this...it's magnetised, so sticks to the fridge! Brilliant when following a recipe (like I ever follow anything...just need the basic gyst of a recipe). I'd like to say that I am not accident prone, or butterfingered, but I did in fact drop this ipad as well, oops...but...it was absolutely fine! Yay to the shell!! It gives you the option to prop up at several angles which is also very useful. Wish it could do it both landscape and picture, but it's only on landscape, but that's just a minor detail. Fab product, you will not be disappointed.

Nice cover, thin type so not bulky.Seems well made, ipad grip is not all around but it feels a good grip so we'll see how it goes.Very good for the price as local phone shops have quoted me twice the price.

I bought this iPad cover because my old one was falling apart. My wife was continually complaining about the black specks that kept appearing on the carpets and floors throughout the house. I ordered it and it arrived within a couple of days. I am very pleased with it. It is an exact fit to my oldish iPad and it is almost identical to the original. When the lid is dropped onto the screen, the device switches off or at least the screen switches off. As a word of caution, it can be a bit difficult to read the model type (A1556) from memory) that is etched onto the rear of the iPad. I had to use a magnifying glass. An excellent buy at a good price.

Fits well but looks & feels cheap. I preferred the hessian type which is no longer available.
