[ Upgrade 2021 ] CNC Milling Router Machine, Mostics CNC 3018 Pro Wood Carving Router with Offline Controller, GRBL Control Candle Software 3 Axis Working Area 300x180x45mm

I have a digital media agency and we like to give special items to our clients. Instead of paying a lot of money to have these special items made, I discovered such a machine. I was actually worried that I would pay a lot of money for this machine because we have never used a machine like this before. But after watching the video, I saw that it was as simple as Printer. We tested it with a few wooden pieces that I don't use in my office and we are very satisfied.Setup may seem confusing or difficult, but if you have a large desk that's fine. You can install it in 15-20 minutes. (We installed the machine by 2 people) It can be carried alone, not heavy.After the installation, I immediately placed the 30CMx10CM and 3CM thick wooden shelf on the machine. After making sure that the dimensions were adjusted correctly, I gave instructions for the Logo and watched the machine like watching a movie. It was fun and looked good. So far, we have made special wood engravings for the names and logos of 40 different customers. We have delivered gifts to many of them and have improved a lot in customer satisfaction. If I had a Sign Maker make each piece of wood, he would ask me £2000 for 40 pieces of wood. My total cost with this machine is £700. (Cargo, woods and machinery)Overall pretty good for its price. It seemed expensive at first, but the material quality and print quality are really good. It was much easier and fun than I expected. For now we are using this machine very rough and forcing but it is really solid and has not produced any faulty products yet.I did not have the opportunity to try for very large products, but I printed an average of 20CM in diameter on a 30x35CM wood with a maximum thickness of 5CM. It took about 1 minute.

This is my first CNC machine after watching a number of videos on the 3018 and decided to go with the Mostics after reading favourable reviews.The quality of the item and the way it is packaged is great for the price. In fact there was a lot less assembly than I thought as most of it was pre-assembled so just had to bolt a few bits together. There were a few bits that weren't documented like which wires to connect where but it's fairly obvious once you look at the bits you have.But once it was assembled it was easy to operate and everything worked as expected and got my first test cut done without any hassle.Also to note the service from Mostics is fantastic so far as they are quick to respond to emails and very helpful.Couldn't be happier so far.

Good for beginners. A good solid structure and the red turn wheels make things much easier. I love that it has rubber feet too, this helps reduce vibration sounds! I did have problems getting it to work but the customer service was very helpful and polite. They responded quickly and informatively. Sent me replacement parts which arrived quickly and now it works perfectly. I'm happy with the customer support and looking forward to starting my projects.

Machine came pre assembled, i only had to connect gantry and wires. Machine is absolutely rock solid, It has everything you need to get started. Very easy to get up and running. All software and information included.

Originally wrote a review too early.I received my cnc 3018 very quickly, it did have a broken part, namely the board. Having spoke to mostics, they sent me a new one immediately, it arrived in 48 hours and it was 2 days before Xmas !!Couldn’t be happier with the product, exactly as described, easy to build, works well, I was carving within a few hours and even though I had a problem with it, mostics support were quick to rectify it. 100% recommend for the customer service alone !

Quite a difficult process connecting to laptop as it has a long way to get it to work not managed to connect mine yet

Machine looks and feels well made with no play in any of the XYZ axis. Now learning to draw and make images with Freecad. Have not used the CNC yet.

Bought in December 2020. Used 20 times max before the driver on the main board burnt out. Unable to contact seller via Amazon to talk about the 2 year warranty as it's outside of the 30 day return period. Crazy.
